“Excellent Stay, Will Return.”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

Me & my Boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights in February. Fantastic hotel, Brilliant Staff at Reception ( I did not get the girls name at Reception - But she was so helpful )
Excellent location - walking distance to every main attraction.
Plenty of Bars, Restraunts & Shops on your doorstep.
Hotel itself is very clean. Rooms cleaned & towels changed evryday.
If we ever return to Rome - we will diffinitley stay here again.

The hotel is fine, with tidy rooms and helpful staff. It's on a main road, but we weren't troubled at all by normal traffic.

This hotel room was something out of a nightmare. The room was unbelievably hot. The person showing me to the room turned on the A/C for me, and an hour later the room was no cooler. I tried leaving the floor but at night they close the fire door to the stairway and elevator making it nearly impossible to find. Walking around and around I felt like I was going to start seeing "redrum redrum!" painted on the walls. It was really creepy! Turns out the door was inside another area that they open during the day. Not able to find the exit, I settled back in my room. Having had enough for the day I turned out the lights and tried to sleep. Somewhere in the middle of the night, with the air conditioner making a lot of noise but not reducing the temperature in the room, I turned on the light to go use the restroom. Suddenly everything in the room went silent and dark. I call down to the front desk to find out a fuse had blown in the room. Stumbling through the dark I find the fuse box conveniently located behind the door and the front desk walked me through fixing the problem. Woke-up the next morning to find bags of dirty linens stacked two and three deep down the hallway in front of the room. Also, when I checked in the night before they said they would have a room available for the next night, as I was leaving to go out for the day they inform me they did not have a room for the night. I was almost relieved to hear the news. Went down the street to a hostel, spent half the money, had a kitchen, and a very clean room twice the size The only plus to this hotel was the location.

Second time staying at the Miami. Clean comfortable rooms and plenty to choose from continental breakfast. Only problem was our bedroom must have been under the breakfast room, everytime that some moved their table or chair they scraped it accross the floor which we could hear and was really annoying.

Lots of nice restaurants nearby as well as plenty clothes shops.

Whe did take a city bus tour, however we ended up walking round most of the attractions which are not that far from the hotel.

Excellent location and will return again on next visit to Rome.

Room Tip: don't choose 402 or 540 due to the noise from the breakfast room! Unkess you are a very heavy sl...

Very clean hotel and the staff are very friendly, helpful and caring. The location is excellent to most of the attractions. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. Very busy road the hotel is situated on but didn't hear traffic. Shops and restaurants on the road are welcoming. My husband was due to come on this holiday but due to an illness the day before was unable to fly. I will along with my husband next time be returning to Rome hopefully next year and will definitely be staying at this hotel.

Room Tip: I stayed on the 5th floor over looking courtyard and room was big.

Good location, very central to most attractions. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and reasonably sized for Italy. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. Get there early if the hotel is busy, otherwise you have to wait for a table.
The 1st night the rooms were freezing and we were unable to sleep, which was fixed the next day. There is a constant bad smell coming from the drains.

Room Tip: We chose a family room, which was 2 rooms and a common door. Good selection if the children are olde...

Enjoyed the location, reasonable price, typical breakfast. Awful coffee in the mornings though. Also quite a strange impression was left by reception due to the following incident: we have done some shopping (mens shirts and a suit) and were so tierd by the end of the day, that when we have reached the room itself, left the bag with goods next to our room door- just stupidly entered without noticing it's still standing outside. In 15 minutes we realized it's not with us and checked - nothing outside. Went downstairs to reception to ask, and they said: nope, we've seen nothing. Then we were still standing, and i asked again- you sure nobody seen the bag on 3rd floor next to romm xxx? And then suddenly the answer was:" ahh, there...next to room xxx... Yes, here is it!"
I mean, it was our stupidity, but the hotel manager actually tried hard to convince us it wasn't with them.... Weird! And made me dislike the rest of the stay.
