Great little hotel not far from most attractions.
I walked to everything from here (Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, Colosseum etc.) Some a little far but well worth it.
Staff were excellent in all respects and a good breakfast buffet, you need it if you like to walk.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for three nights. The room was at a great price, very comfortable and clean and we especially liked the mirror on the wall. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is located in a pretty neighborhood, 15 min walk from Vatican, 10 min walk from nearest metro station and 5 min walk from Castel Sant'Angelo. The best thing is the solarium on the fifth floor. We definitely recommend it.

We found this to be a good hotel and reasonable for Rome. A short walk to the Vatican, the staff is very helpful and the rooms are fairly large. A real treat is the roof garden with views of St. Peter's dome...great to have some wine and relax away from the hustle of Rome.

The Hotel Arcangelo is a small hotel located close to the Vatican in Rome. It is a good place to stay if you are going to be in Rome for just a couple of days. It is located in a small street in the business area. It is only 10 minutes’ walk to St Peters Square, and there is shopping just a couple of streets away.
The problem that I found with it was there are no restaurants very close to the hotel. There are a couple of small café’s with tables on the sidewalk good for lunch but they were busy at lunch times.
The hotel is not a 4 star hotel by North American standards. As with all hotels in Europe the rooms are small but they have everything you need. In the rooms the ceilings were 10 ft. high and the wallpaper was red print, and hard on the eyes.
The breakfast was good typical European buffet with bread, meats, cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon. This is a good place to stay for just a couple of days but no longer.

Room Tip: We were on the ground floor and the street outside was quiet. We closed the window and used the air...

This was once the villa of a Princess, said the receptionist. Well, it must have been rebuilt quite a bit, but this small hotel still has some charm. Most important, it is very quiet at night, that is: no scooters or cars zipping past your hotel room window (as may happen in other areas). Don't look for perfection in details: the bathrooms are a bit dated, the bathtub did not drain quickly, there is no stand-up shower (only a "telephone" shower, but that works, of course), the TV is a bit small for most modern standards, and wifi is very slow.
But the bed was very good. The front desk very helpful. The location is great, and the breakfast buffet is quite generous and boasts fresh oranges (although the sweet rolls were a bit stale).

A highlight: a roof terrace, offering a place for a quiet relaxing moment in the evenings (or during the day, of course) , with a view of the cupola of St Peter's.

Room Tip: Rooms to the side or the back might be even quieter.

We stayed for 5 days at Hotel Arcangelo Andhad a wonderful stay . Breakfast was a spread snd you could make the freshest orange juice yourself ! Staff at the recoeption were very helpful with restaurant suggestions and rooms were spacious and comfortable . There was wifi available in the rooms which was also very convenient. The hotel is located minutes away from the Vatican and this was fantastic as we did a number of night walks around Vatican (particularly beautiful at night).
Overall had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel
