The hotel is very near from the train station, you can even walk with your baggage. So I would say it location is very convenient, but it's quite far from the main attractions in Rome, except the Colosseum which is walking distance.

The service is really good, and the staff is very kind. The breakfast is good but it could be better. Near the hotel you will a restaurant called "la famiglia" which I totally recommend. Also there are many other restaurants, a grocery store and souvenirs stores.

The only problem was the heating, you cannot control it from your room and the temperature was uncomfortable to me. So I had to open the window to let the cold air enter and cool down the room. But it was pretty annoying to close/open the window in the middle of the night.

We were a small group of 4 (under 30) - two couples, for the first time in Rome. We arrived in December and stayed here for 4 days.
The fist important thing for us was the location - very good - near the Termini Station (train bus and metro), a 2 km walk from The Coliseum. We also wanted a buffet breakfast - here you'll have a complete breakfast on an amazing terrace at 6th floor.
The next important aspect for us was the room - we got two nice, clean and worm rooms, next to each other.

Summary: great location, good breakfast (amazing terrace), clean rooms, friendly stuff.
We would recommend it to a friend!

Thank you for having us!
Raluca

I have booked this hotel for new year 2013 and stayed with my husband and friends, so we had two rooms. I would first like to say that the hotel class must be taken into consideration when a review is written, and this hotel offers much more than average 3star hotel! Hotel has reputation of having the best breakfast in Rome, and the variety and quality of breakfast is really amazing, it is buffet breakfast with lots of Italian dellies, cheese ( very high quality cheese and deli, so high above average 3-star baloney) and it is served in the roof, in wonderful winter terrace, so you can also enjoy the view. Location is very good, 5 minutes by foot from Termini, where metro station and shutle buses are, and also you can walk for 10 minutes to Via Nazionale, Piaza Barberini, some interesting sites, where you can catch some public transport or even walf further to the city center. You should not compare this "good" mark for a location as you are in 5-star hotel on Spanish steps, or Piazza Navona, but this location is GREAT for area near Termini, we slept great even during New Year's Eve, so it was not noisy at all. Rooms are small but nicely decorated, with toilletries for a 5-star hotel. Staff are really not noticeable at all, but helpful when you need them, as this is really a small city hotel, not an all inclusive resort. I would always recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay near Termini and within this price range, and I would go back to this hotel again.

We had a couples holiday in Rome staying at this hotel which ticked all the right boxes. The rooms were small but perfectly formed with plenty of space to live out of a suitcase(s) and nicely finished. The location was great (2 minutes from the main train station) and only 10 -15 minutes away from a number of the main sights. The gentleman in reception was very helpful on our arrival taking some time to talk through the map he gave us and give some ideas on where to eat and drink.

Would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to see the city on a reasonable budget.

We read the reviews on TripAdvisor before booking two rooms. The rooms are far bigger than most of the reviews described. We came to realize that there are different configurations. We have booked rooms. One has a bigger bath room but smaller bed room and the other has small bath room but spacious bed room (even with a hall way). You can ask the reception for a different room if the one you have is not satisfactory.

The breakfast is OK, but not as great as some of the reviews led us to believe. The roof-top breakfast area is a bit hot in August.

Free WiFi. That's great. Hotel arranged nice taxi to FCO for 50 Euro. No tips necessary.

We were desperate. We had a list minute change in plans which meant we’d be in Rome for one night before a 6.15am train to Anzio the next morning. Without any hotel reservations in hand, we arrived in Rome in the late afternoon needing a place to stay. It was a bad idea to come without any type of reservation, particularly during peak season. I had tried calling several hotels, all of which were booked. And we had walked into a couple of hotels that looked acceptable and close to the train station, but they were likewise booked. We were running out of options --- so we walked into this “hotel” --- which quite frankly felt more like a place for backpackers. The guy behind the front desk barely looked up when we walked in. We inquired about a room, he said there was one left – and he offered us a very reasonable rate. We asked if we could see it first – which he said we could. It was basic; very simply furnished. Beds were meh. The room was clean, but showing signs of age. We took the room because we had no other options and, fortunately, it was only a five minute walk to Termini Station. We told the guy at the front desk that we’d be checking out early, so he was nice enough to knock the price of the room down by 10 Euros since we wouldn’t be having breakfast. The next morning, as we checked out of the hotel, the overnight front desk attendant was none-too-happy to have to wake up so early to check us out. I certainly wouldn’t return this hotel, but it served it’s purpose for us – a quick one night stay near the train station that was clean.
