“Good Base - central to Termini”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

This hotel is very central to Rome Termini and the Metro Links (Rome only has 2 lines A & B, so very easy to navigate.) I was a bit worried when reading the reviews but knew we would be spending a busy 3 days sightseeing and only using the Hotel to crash in. Upon arrival we were told the lift was not working, but if we did not mind a room without a view it would save us climbing 3 floors to our room, (we had requested front of the hotel with a view). The room is basic, large bed, clean bathroom with power shower, our ‘view’ was the back fire escape – but we did not want to spend much time in our room. We did venture down for breakfast but it was your typical buffet style you get on all inclusive and for 10 euros each we much preferred to have breakfast in one of the many quaint restaurants dotted around. Or you can get excellent pastries and snacks from the bakery in the Supermarket in the Termini. I would recommend this hotel if you want a good base to explore Rome and would definitely stay there again. Couple Liverpool.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a veiw if you can get it

I was sent to this hotel when the Royal Court where I'd booked through Expedia didn't have a room for me. Aside from the aggravation of that, the first room offered didn't meet my needs. The receptionist found another one that was much better but still didn't have a safe, one of the things I look for when booking, but a deficit overcome by his offer to keep my things in the hotel safe. The location was good when arriving at Termini ( a short walk). The bar and breakfast room were attractive - fresh white and red decor with old movie posters in ornate frames in the breakfast room - and the breakfast buffet complete. The room was clean but wifi only worked in the lobby and bar, and that only sporadically. If I was overnighting in Rome again I'd consider this hotel mainly because of the amenable staff.

Room Tip: Avoid the ground floor. 2nd floor room was fine.

I booked this hotel for my last minute getaway. I literally booked it on the the plane before taking off to Rome through the Booking.com app, it was the best choice among a huge amount of hotels in Rome, it had one of the best price/ratings.
Location is good, about 3 blocks from the Termini (very practical). Rooms are spot clean, room space is very small but this is typical of European hotels. The reception staff are very nice and always ready to answer your questions (kudos to Daniel for looking up a restaurant for me and giving directions in how to get there). I arrived early in the morning so it was too early for check-in but they held my luggage and I was able to go sightseeing until my room was ready. I had a room in the back of the hotel which I loved as it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was included but I wasn't able to try it, I would say for the price, even if it was just coffee and toast it would be worth it.
The area has a lot of cute restaurants and although quiet, it felt safe at all times.
I would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone I know.

Cordiali saluti a presto.

When we checked in at the hotel, the receptionist assigned us to a room where somebody was already staying in! It was 1 am when we arrived, so luckily when I opened the door I saw people's bags and immediately walked out - saved me from an awkward encounter. When I went to tell the receptionist that the room was occupied, instead of finding another room for me, he accompanied me back to that same room, opened the door again (!) and only after witnessing the presence of other people, made me walk downstairs to get a new room. I had to carry my luggage back and forth which was no fun, especially after a 7 hour flight. The only other room available had a king bed, and I was traveling with my mom, so I did not appreciate the prospect of sharing a bed with her either.

Next day, I tried to speak with the hotel manager who was not available because it was a Saturday. The receptionist assured me I could speak with the manager on Monday, after 9.30 a.m. when the manager gets to work. Well, needless to say, I never got a chance to do that because the manager still had not showed up to work by 11a.m. when we left on Monday. I got to speak with another receptionist instead who basically told me that he was sorry but there is nothing they could do about that.

Lastly, throughout my three day stay I could not access wi-fi from my room which was annoying because I had to spend data on my phone instead. When I told the receptionist about the issue, his only suggestion was to use the wi-fi in the lobby.

So overall, horrible staff attitude, very unhelpful and unprofessional. Not worth their price or your wasted energy to demand the promised conditions.
