We stayed at the Abruzzi from 11/16 to 11/20. Double room facing the Pantheon for my mom and I. Room was clean and adequate for our needs, European hotels are always smaller than the norm so we expected that. But the view cannot be beat. At first we thought the noise at the Piazza will bother us, but it somewhat added to the ambience. Especially in the evenings when a opera singer will perform some songs through the night... how often do you have that? We walked to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vittorio Emanuele, Colosseum and the Forum. Love the area around the hotel, just taking a stroll is a treat. We had dinner at Antonio al Pantheon and loved every meal. Will definitely stay here again.

I will never, ever forget the experience of looking out my window at a colossal BC monument, The Pantheon, while listening to the splash of the fountain, an accordion player, and the chatter of happy people in piazza della rotunda below. Waking up in the middle of the night to see it hauntingly empty and quiet was equally special. I've stayed in the cheaper Vatican area on previous trips to Rome, but staying here afforded a completely different experience, and was worth every extra penny. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful, and using our breakfast vouchers to eat at a restaurant across the piazza was a highlight each morning. The only downside was having to tear myself away at the end of our stay. Treat yourself to a stay here and chances are, you'll be thanking yourself as much as I still am!

Room Tip: I believe all rooms have a view of the pantheon, but ask for one directly above the fountain as well...

We again visited Rome and stayed at the Hotel Abruzzi. We even had our same room which was excellent to look down on the Piazza Rotonda with its flurry of activity and beautiful fountain. We could view the Pantheon from our window. The location is excellent and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast is great and we enjoyed the stroll across the piazza in the cool of the morning for breakfast. On the morning we left it was early so they had a sack breakfast ready for us to eat in our room. The only drawback was you go up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator.

Room Tip: We had a suite on 4th floor overlooking the fountain. It was large and sunny!

Just returned from Rome. Hotel Abruzzi was clean, comfortable & the staff was very helpful. Great location, good breakfast at near by cafe. Amazing to stay just a few steps away from the Pantheon, This is the perfect time of year to visit Italy - not too crowded. Great cafes & restaurants near by-- do not miss San Crispio gelato at Piazza della Maddalena, just steps away from Hotel Abruzzi!

We stayed at Hotel Abruzzi for the location and it had good reviews. The front desk staff, especially Antonio, were great. It was like having our own tour guide and historian at our finger tips. Also the location was awesome. Right outside our window was the Pantheon. What a view to wake up to! The breakfast provided by the hotel was at a restaurant located in the piazza. Each morning, we would sit in the piazza having breakfast watching the Romans on their way to work and marvel at the beauty of the Pantheon and the buildings surrounding us. The hotel location allowed us to walk to all the major tourist sights; colosseum, vatican/st. petes, trevi fountain, piazza navona etc. The room itself was very comfortable although small (what do yo expect for the location?) I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is located at the absolute best location in Rome. It is located in the square with the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona is a 10 minute walk and you are also within walking distance of the Colosseum and the Vatican. An excellent buffet breakfast is included which is served in a small restaurant located just across from the hotel. I found the hotel to be extremely convenient and very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. This would definitely be my choice the next time I plan a trip to Rome.

Hotel Abruzzi is located in the most amazing area of Rome. I opened my window and was looking directly at the Pantheon. Seriously, how incredible is that? The hotel is deceiving because you can easily walk right past it. There is no lobby to speak of, but that is not a necessity. The rooms are small but quite adequate - clean with private bathrooms. The location is spectacular. We walked to everything. Breakfast is included, but you have to walk across the piazza to a restaurant. This is not an inconvenience since you are walking past the Pantheon and a fountain. Truly spectacular.
