This hotel is located in the heart of the Trastevere. It's nothing fancy, but then you shouldn't expect that based on the rates charged. For that reason, it's a decent value. Staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms were a little worn and the bathroom was very small, but we weren't planning on spending much time in either! Breakfast was basic. Would definitely stay there again.

As our main goal was to see as many sites as possible, Hotel Trastevere was the perfect choice. After every exhausting day of exploring the main part of Rome and all it's wonders, we let out a big sigh of relief when ''coming home'' to the lovely and laid-back neighbourhood of Trastevere. The hotel is very cosy and homey, and the staff do their utmost to take care of you. We woke to the aroma of their wonderful coffee, and started every day with a healthy and adequate breakfast in their charming dining room. Can't wait to go back!

On the first leg of our trip, we spent 4 nights in the Annex facing a courtyard which was very quiet... clean rooms and friendly service. We needed to be in Rome for two more nights on our way back home and immediately re-booked with Hotel Trastevere. Price was great and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The best thing about the hotel is the fact that it is located in Trastevere , an excellent location for visiting all the major sights in Rome and also a great location for restaurants ,bars, and nightlife if so inclined. Yet the hotel is located in a quiet street and there is no problem with noise. This is a very good budget hotel. We were very pleased with our room which was spacious and was located in a separate apartment block next door to the hotel itself. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. A simple but nourishing breakfast is provided .

Great Location and good value for seeing the sights and for exploring the eclectic Trastevere neighborhood. I stayed one week. Room/bathroom was clean, spacious, included a fridge and was quiet. Restaurants and markets within a block provide daily rations at high quality and reasonable price for Rome. Staff helpful in taking messages and receiving a package. Hotel is very close to tram and bus for good connections to major sights and connections to train and airport. My trip was business and hotel is set up for tourists so a business visit to hotel requires business support self sufficiency and good knowledge of ways to reach business locations. My only complaint is the breakfast which was ok but lacked protein. A yogurt or eggs or ham and more fresh fruit (not the canned sugary bowel) would make a longer stay better.

Room Tip: Annex room was spacious and quiet except for other guests returning in early morning hours.

Everyone working there was very nice and helpful, they gave great directions and advice on where to go and how to get there. The rooms are bigger than expected from most of the other three star hotels i have been to and more comfortable. so to make it short and sweet, i loved it and if i go back to Rome I'm staying there!

This was our first stop on our honeymoon. It was perfect for our budget. The staff is excellent. The location is great. The room was fine. The breakfast was very good. Our favorite thing about staying here was the sidewalk cafe right around the corner. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: The bed was two twins pushed together. This is typical for hotels in this price range.
