We booked the hotel from agoda and checked in with no problem. A bit disappointed at first when we got into the room, because we had to change the elevator on 3rd floor and it was a tiny elevator (only fit 2 people). Luckily, the hotel concierge asked about our room and we asked if we could switch to other room that doesn't require to change elevator. The next morning we changed the room and problem solved! Very close to Termini, no problem in dragging our luggages. Only 10 minutes walk. One more thing, try their coffee on breakfast, it was so good!!

Clean and friendly hotel, with good localization. Nice stuff. Rooms not too big, but nice. Easy transport to the main places in Rome and airport. Terminand neighberhoodi nowadays isn't pleasant at night. However the hotel is worthy to be recommended.

I choose this hotel because of the comments I heard so far is good and friendly staff, however I am very disppointed about the hotel and their since managerthe situation we facing now the hotel management is careless and no sympathy at all. We have accident happen and need to back home early, we know the hotel policy short notice for cancel room is chargeable but we just asking for help maybe only charge for one night for penalty as per courtesy, however the hotel house manager Ms. Laura just keep saying this is the policy, is not their fault and must charge for all stay.. we are seeking for help but she just only focus on policy and don't have any sympathy for their guest. I really would like to stay in hotel but just cannot make it. This is my first time in this horrible situation and normally all worldwide hotel can understand our difficulties and help us to go through. But Hotel Alpi they didn't and just said policy is policy. In the phone when we asking for help I don't feel Ms Laura is helping us and she become angry what we just asking for help.

For me friendly relationship between hotel and guest is very important, however this experience really make me feel frustrated and I don't feel safe if I really stay in this hotel with no sympathy hotel manager. I won't recommend Hotel Alpi to my friends if they stay in Rome.

Dear Martha,
It is difficult to understand how you can make a judgment so totally negative without even ever having seen our hotel! it is clear that buying a non-refundable rate and trying to cancel the same day, we cannot satisfy you and refund, but only possibly to re-offer the deposit paid for a future stay. Sorry that you, having been robbed on the street in Milan, have vowed not to go back to Italy! A great pity for you, Italy is magnificent, and unfortunately have to be careful everywhere, in all countries of the world!

This was our first visit to the hotel for a 4 night stay. Overall, we were impressed with the place. Quirky too and a little bit on the small side, but a wonderful stay. Key points:

1) Friendly staff and reliable service.
2) Clean rooms, comfy bed and loved the décor in the whole hotel.
3) The ensuite looked fantastic and fairly spacious. Reliable hot water, power shower and hair dryer.
4) Excellent quality food for breakfast.
5) Free, fast wi-fi internet in the rooms - impressive!
6) Great location. Short walk from Termini train, bus and metro station. There is a small supermarket (Conrad) 30secs from the hotel. Many places to eat nearby.
7) Noise levels generally low. Our room was front side of hotel. Some occasional traffic noise audible, but not distracting.

Things to be aware of:

1) Our double room felt a little bit on the small side, even the length of the bed!
2) Make sure you have the correct travel adapters to use. Our room has a 3 pin sockets (in a row, not UK style).
3) Lifts are small too, and the door is a bit confusing.
4) Don't use the shower on high speed, as the water goes everywhere.

Besides this, we highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Alpi is a decent hotel to stay in during your visit of Rome. From the Fiumicino airport you take the train (€14,-) to railway station Termini in the centre of Rome. From there it is a a 10 min. walk to the Hotel. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. To visit the city you can go back to station Termini from where you can take the metro, but you can also visit a great deal of the city by foot.

Room Tip: We had the least expensive room. It did not have any scenic view but the room was clean and the sani...

Location in Rome is everything and the Alpi suited our needs very well - close to the Termini (10 min walk), quiet surroundings, well served by restaurants and the area felt safe.
The room (deluxe) was a good size with an excellent shower, comfy bed and usable balcony - all we needed for a peaceful escape from city life.
Staff were polite and helpful.

They even held onto our cases after checking out.

Room Tip: Room 373 is located in a quiet corner with a rear aspect.

hotel was nice and clean,we was given a room at the front which was noisy also the directly under us was being renovated which would have been ok if we had been told about it as it was we was woken up every morning with banging, drilling and other building noises. The staff were very helpful, room cleaned every day. I would go back but would ask for a back room. There were lots of beggers in the vaccinity noticeable but not too annoying please dont let this put you off as the hotel is within walking distance of all transport links. one last thing no need for taxi as hotel 5 mins up rd from station termini. We did not know this and was charged 20 euro .

Room Tip: rooms at back are quieter
