“Always a wonderful welcome awaits!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

As cliche as it sounds every time I arrive I feel like it's a homecoming.

This was not my first time to Hotel Due Torri and hopefully not my last. This quaint little hotel set well back from the main thoroughfares but not far from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona is the perfect location. It's very centrally located to many sites.

The staff are wonderfully accommodating and the breakfast is generous. The rooms are tiny but we didn't go to Rome to have a 'hotel vacation.'

The hotel is tucked away from busy streets and could be a little difficult to find for new vistors. However, its location is one of the best because you could easily walk to major sites or catch a bus from the nearby stops. Hotel personnel are polite, helpful and keep it clean. Also, it probably had one of the best breakfast paninis in town.

The hotel is in a great location and the price is competitive for a boutique hotel. The hotel is difficult to find but is surprisingly quiet for a location in Rome. The rooms are small and adequate, but not very comfortable. My room's air conditioning was cold, my daughter's next door did not work and the room was very warm. Staff brought a fan but the problem evidently cannot be fixed. There is a small lift for two people at a time. Breakfast was fair and heavy on the carbs. The lobby is nice and most of the staff were friendly. The great location and fast service when calling a cab made this a budget-friendly option. There is also a laundry about 1/2 block away that one can drop off clothes for washing and the price was affordable. If you are not into comfortable and well-appointed rooms, stay at the Due Torri.

Room Tip: Look at the room first or inquire about the a/c and size.

Dear Sirs,
We had the chance to read your message and we wish to thank you for anyway suggesting our hotel. It's true we have had a problem with the air conditioning but now it has been fixed and hope therefore you will be back again and possibly in the near future and enjoy then another pleasant stay with us and also enjoy the air conditioning in all the rooms.
As far instead it ocncerns the lift there is nothing we can do. It is small but unfortunatley iit's not poccible to have a bigger one. This bilding belongs to the xvii century and as you can imagine there was not a lift. The one we have now is the biggest we could have but at least it works.
For the breakfast instead we try to satisfy all our clients' request and we do have some heavy staff that some of our clients anyway wish to have for breakfast. Location as you say it's great and we are also glad that staff was efficient and helpfull.ù
So we really hope to see you again. We are here at any time you might decide and wishing you all the best we kindly ask you to accept our warmest regards.

We found this hotel to be well located, clean, and comfortable. Was a treat to open the shutters in the morning and look over the Rome rooftops. Not east to find a hotel that can accommodate a family of five, but Due Torri did, and we were particularly delighted by the way they set up the baby's bed. Very sweet.

All of the desk clerks were helpful and knowledgeable, offering advice, maps and directions. The night clerk in particular was very warm towards us when were arrived late on night after a trip to the emergency room. Great place. The rooms need a bit more darkening to keep out the morning light;.

Stayed at this hotel for a third time and was not disappointed. Excellent location. Everything we wanted to see and do was walkable. Many fantastic restaurants nearby. Service is helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are small even for European standards, especially the single rooms. And it is not quiet. Noise from outside is mainly the dog next door that barks at night. But noise from inside is certainly other guests. You can hear every word that people are saying in the stairwell or room next to you. Bring earplugs and enjoy the great location!

Dear Sir/Madam,
We could read your message and although we are happy that you find the hotel very well located and staff helpfull and breakfast as excellent, we are really very sorry you find our hotel noisy.
We are hidden in a tiny little street away from the traffic but always ina city and noisy from outisde is certainly not under our contro,. ll we coudl do is having double glasses at the windows. It's instead the first time that a client advise us that the noise also comes from inside and this means that we cartainly must solve the problem.
We hope anyway to see you again whenever you decide to cme and stay and wishing you all the best we send you our warmest regards

Nice location, well maintained, and very clean. Comfortable furnishings, though a bit restricted on shelves, drawers, etc. Admittedly the rooms are pretty small, but pretty routine for such a convenient and old area. The breakfast would be better is some of the preppackaged items were dropped in favor of more local stuff. That said, we unreservedly recommend this hotel!

Dear Mr William

We had the chance to read your message and we are pleased that you anyway had a pleasant stay with us. We do agree with you about breakfast but unfortunately there is an itialian law that forces us to have some of these items prepacked. It's really frustating not to be able to satisfy clients as it's not under our control.
We hope anyway to see you again in the near future or whenever you might decide and wishing you all the best we send yu our warmest regards.

We had a family trip in April and were referred by friends to stay at Hotel Due Torri. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well located to see the city by foot. The staff was very helpful and made some great recommendations for dinner nearby. Some in our party had been to Rome numerous times and were impressed with the location and accommodations. Nice variety at breakfast helped start the days off right.

Definitely will stay again when we return to Rome.
