first of all I would like to start with the good things:
1.Most of the hotel staff is very nice and kind.
2.The food is ok and worth the price you will pay, I paid 125 Euro for 5 nights.
3.The rooms are very comfortable and clean!
4.The pool is a bit unclean but large and beautiful.
5.The hotel is quite, clean, and peacefull
6.Close supermarket to the hotel where you can find some nice Italian food to take home in a nice price.
7.The restaurant is very close to the hotel (2 min) the food is very tastey and you won't spend muich (the prices are between 5-15 euros for nice meals) ask for Lorenzo to help you, a very nice young man.

and now to the negative things (i have to worn you so you wont be confused from the adds):

1.The mini-bar that said everywhere that is free, is not so free, and you have to ask 1000 times, and even then on the last day, they may say to you as they said to me ("you didnt make a reservation for the mini-bar" although I asked thousend time if I can use the minibar for 0 charge and the man in the reservation said "YES!!").

2.Other thing that was a little bit disterbing is that in Booking.com its says quote: "a mediterian breakfast" nothing mediterian at all... so dont expect to see something more than some bread cheese, bacon, eggs milk and pie in the cafeteria...

3.The staff is very nice, but not always helpfull, their English is poor, and sometimes you will find yourself seing "nevermind..." with desperetion.. and there is some unpleasent lady in the reseption that makes you fill as if she makes you a favour that she talks with you (with glasses and courly dark hair).

4.And now the most problematic thing: transportation, the hotel is so far away from the center of rome, so you will need to change a bus (30min) and train (20-30 min) to get yourself to the main atractions in rome (Colosseum, Vatican, Augustus house, Orange garden, Spanish stairs, Panteon and so on...) and NO SHATTLE FROM THE HOTEL!
(taxi from the airport (fumochino) to the hotel is 35-45 Euros!! do not agree for more than 45 euros, ask from the hotel to order for you).

IN CONCLUSION:
If you don't want to spend a lot of money in your trip to Rome, that is the best hotel for you, but be ready! it wont be easy to get to the center, and you will be most of the time in race with the time that running out and waits for no one :)

Room Tip: The prices are very low and the hotel is nice, from the 3th floor no noise.

We arrived at the Aris Garden by hire car and a sat nav is definitely required to negotiate the area. We chose the suburbs because we were staying in Tuscany part way through our stay in Rome and needed easy access to the coast.

The reception staff were helpful and the waitress in the breakfast room was very sweet.

Bus/Metro tickets can be purchased from reception (2 each way (4 tickets in total or just 2 to get into Rome then buy a Rome Pass which includes all bus, Metro and tram travel in Rome in addition to 2 free sight entrances and reductions on other sights)). The Journey into Rome involves catching the 709 bus (exit the hotel to the right then turn right at the first junction then cross the road to the bus stop). Get off at the EUR Fermi which is the termini for the journey. The Metro entrance is where you alight the bus. The B line into Rome leaves from the platfrom in front of you as you enter the station. The best station to leave the train initially is probably Colosseo (The Colosseum) as it is handy for the Forum, Palatine, Colosseum, etc.

If you need to be in Rome for a particular time, give yourself plenty time especially after 7.30 am, as the traffic can come to a standstill. The Metro section of the journey is much quicker than the bus.

The pool wasn't open until June, so we were unable to use it, but it was large, clean and situated in a well maintained garden.

The hotel is clean but definitely needs some TLC from interior designers. However, it is a much quieter place to stay if you are a light sleeper.

Hi just spent 3 days at this hotel, cannot fault hotel, wouldn't class it a 4 star as dated but clean & staff very friendly & helpful. no facilities in room for tea or coffee.Hotel is a bit too far out of Rome for our liking but that was our mistake,
to get into Rome you need to get a bus (709 round the corner opposite shops from hotel) then the Metro into Rome, if you get the metro to Colosseum you come out the metro & it is right in front of you a great sight to see.
A 3 day bus & metro ticket only cost 19 euros, then a 2 days open topped bus cost 19 euros & it is well worth it.
We took the Vatican tour 40 euors each it was great, but didn't do the colosseum tour we just went early 9 o;clock waited 10-15 mins & went inside ourselfs price 12 euros (tours were anywhere between 23- 39 euros each depending who stopped you) also watch out for the guys who are dressed up a romans they conned us they were upon us before we knew it 2 photos each cosy us 20euros each = 40 euros from the 2 of us ( we were taken in our fault)
Rome is a beautiful place only let down is the people who are in you face all the time with cheap hats, beads, parasols & all the rest of the cheap rubbish. We also wern't aware of the
3 euros each per night had to be paid as it is city tax.
We had a great time, would go back but next time nearer Rome City,

Booked through BA Avios (air miles) on a 4 night bed & breakfast short break. We booked in on Easter Monday & hotel seemed very quiet, no evening food available that night, but we had read other reviews on Trip Advisor, & walked round the corner to Mirkos. This was a friendly restaurant, carafes of house wine recommended, with an English version of the menu.
Continental breakfast, but staff are happy to cook bacon & eggs, you just have to ask. Getting into Rome was really easy, get the 709 bus on the opposite side to the shopping centre, & get off at EUR Termini, then Metro in. We got off at the Colosseum (wow, what a sight as soon as you leave the Metro station) & you can walk the rest. Aris Garden sell the bus tickets, 1 Euro each way per person. You just have to click the ticket in the machines on the bus to validate. 4 ticket inspectors boarded the bus on one of our journeys into Rome, & caught out several locals who hadn't got tickets. They had to get off the bus, and were fined 50 Euros on the spot, so be warned.
We found Rome to be very expensive as expected. We decided to come back to Aris Garden, get freshened up & eat at Mirkos, which was considerably cheaper. Also we were glad to relax away from the bustle of Rome after a hard day of sightseeing on your feet all day. We must have walked miles. We did have one evening snack at Aris Garden, both had lasagne, with a bottle of wine, which was very nice & not too expesive. Be aware that you have to pay a government tax of 3 Euros per person per night, so add that to your costing.
Our room was on floor 6 right at the end, but the lift worked well. Have uploaded pictures of our room & the view from it.

Room Tip: Go onto Google Street View to see Mirkos restaurant & where the bus stop is

This was our first trip to Rome, and we were so pleased all round, the staff at the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful they bent over backwards to make conversation, helped us plan our day trips and always made a fuss of our little one, the only negative was the pool, it was beautiful weather but the pool was more of a lagoon, however this is just a small down side to a wonderful trip, the centre is really easily accessible from the hotel, granted its around half an hour by bus and metro, but this adds to the fun especially if you have children. The hotel is very pretty and round the corner is a great choice of shops less than a 2 minute walk away. There you will find a great place to eat called mirkos the owner is fab, doesn't speak much english but very sweet and funny! The bakery is incredible and the little shop a few doors down does sandwiches and cigarrettes etc they are also lovely, But I have to say the absolute highlight of the hotel is Sonia the waitress she was such a lovely sweet and warm woman, our little boy adored her, she made a fuss of him daily and could not do enough to help us, it was a sad departure with a genuine Italian farewell with hugs and kisses all round, congratulations to all the staff for creating such a lovely warm environment, the decor is a little dated but to be honest it only adds to the charm. We are looking forward to returning to Rome time and time again, and will indeed return to this little gem of a hotel. Biggest downside was being squeezed into a double room, almost no space in room with three of us in there.

Room Tip: Higer floor rooms are better
