you might love it or hate it, if confront and cleanliness are a priority, then avoid this place, if you don't mind some dust, total lack of space in the bungalow, rock hard beds, covers from the 50s that might upset ur skin, and cold nights unless it's july & August, then go for it.
The location is great, just a few steps from a nice public beach ( a privilege in the roman seaside area as the shore is monopolized by those annoying private and expensive bath houses) , great deal if u have a car, u can reach the center of rome in 40 minutes. the metro station is a couple of km far but there is a bus stop right in front the camping.
We got a 2 persons bungalow with shower and toilet, beginning of june, seriously, too cold inside at night, we asked for a small heater. the price: 50€ per night, still not sure if it's worth the value. We are in our 30s and our back still hurts after sleeping in the hard beds. The floor was dusty and a bit dirty, and it gets easily dirtier, same for the floor in the toilet. Towels do not dry at night for the cold and humidity.
Today we're moving at hotel Petra, suggested by a friend, closer to the center, same price for a twin room, but we will be in an hotel.
Staff was helpful and nice.
