“Cute hotel in perfect location in Trevi area”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

My husband and I stayed 2 nights. We loved being able to walk to most of the sights. The hotel is really hidden behind a huge door and then inside a courtyard and then up a half flight of stairs and then you take a very small elevator up to the 4th floor. The room and bath was tiny but adequate. At breakfast they had, among other things, croissants with Nutella which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We decided to pay a little more to stay in the center of the city and did not regret the choice. We were able to walk to many sites, and the metro was close to take to others. Although the room and bathroom are quite small (but this seems to be the norm in Rome and most large European cities), it was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The one complaint I had was the bed and pillows were a little hard for my preference. We had a room facing the courtyard and it was quiet, even with the windows open. It was nice to start the day with breakfast, although no hot items, we loved having cappuccinos and espressos made to order!

This little hotel was recommended to us for stay in Rome. Location was great, right in the center of the city. Walking distance to pretty much every destination except Vatican (30 minutes walk or 3 subway stops). The hotel itself is small, the rooms are small as well, but sufficient for the purpose. The room we stayed in had a king size bed, a wardrobe, couple of night tables and nothing really else. The bathroom was small, really small. The shower is about 3'x3', size enough to wash yourself, but nor enough to really enjoy the shower. But there are other things to enjoy in Rome!
The breakfast is very nice, service is great! Rooms are cleaned very well everyday.
We really enjoyed the stay!

Stayed here four nights in late September. The hotel is clean, quiet, the staff is very friendly and the location, as other reviewers have pointed out, is down right perfect. The caveats are that rooms can be very small, ours had just enough space for two beds and an armoire, The bathroom was an average size. Negotiating one or two flights of stairs will be required and there is virtually no public space except a very nice, small sun roof which we utilized for wine drinking and a take out dinner on a couple of evenings. The free breakfast is adequate but very uninteresting with no fresh fruits and tasteless coffee. That being said I would highly recommend this hotel for the young, the young at heart and anyone who will not use a hotel room for anything but sleeping. It is not a place to hang out. The WiFi was strong but seemed to require re logging in every 10 minutes or so. The proprietors are very helpful with luggage. I rated this property "very good" based on location, value and the approachable, helpful staff. It's not for everyone. Choose wisely........

Room Tip: Hotel is on fourth and fifth floors. Many of the rooms are up a significant flight of stairs with n...

This was our second time staying at the Hotel Parlamento which is located near the parlament buildings in Rome - an excellent location for seeing the sights. The staff is just wonderful - very helpful and friendly. Rooms and bed are fine, but one of the tables could be larger to accommodate suitcases more adequately. As reviewed previously, breakfast is "basic but sufficient". We like the cleanliness of the hotel, the top floor patio, staff and location so much that we are happy to walk stairs instead of using the small elevator.

We just got back from Rome & spent 10 days at the Hotel Parlamento. We couldn't be happier with our stay. They arranged our pick up & drop off at the airport & welcomed us at the door upon arrival. Our room was ready & very clean & quiet. The bathroom was Huge by European standards & immaculate! The staff was like family & the capo chino in the morning was 1st rate. The rates are excellent & who needs a luxury hotel when you are spending 99% of your time roaming the city. We walked to every thing in Rome including the Vatican (about 40 minutes if you take your time). Can't be beat! Keep up the good work!

This hotel is central to many of Rome's attractions and not far from the subway to enable access to attractions further away. The rooms were clean but basic. The staff were friendly, the building had very good security and considering how noisy the street is, the room was quiet. We heard our neighbour snoring louder than we heard street noise.
