Location...best location in Rome. Walking distance to most sights, restaurants, shopping, banks etc. There is a large bus station just down the street and right across the street there was pizza and gelato available.
Staff...very friendly and helpful.. especially Tiziano. They all made you feel welcome. Tiziano went out of his way to help arrange tours and transportation for us. Even arranged our transportation from the port to the airport after our cruise 10 days after we checked out. Whenever we had questions someone was always there ready and willing with answers.
Hotel...the roof top terrace was wonderful. It was a pleasant escape for breakfast, a glass of wine or just read a book. Rooms were on the small side (normal for Rome) but clean and comfy. A special touch to the continental breakfast was the cappuccino.
At the Hotel Parlamanto they made you feel welcomed as well as safe and secure.

Central to all tourist places, easy walk to Spanish steps and trevi etc, very plain no frills, entrance via elevator from street as on 4th floor. near plenty of restaurants. No parking, double windows to keep out street noise very good, poor wardrobe space, tiny room and the smallest shower I have ever seen -hardly able to close the folding door, sliding door to bathroom stuck, staff very helpful, euros 3 to use computer, at euros 150 a night well overpriced.

This hotel is located in the center of Rome, a short walk to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. It is also a block away from a large bus stop at the Piazza San Silvestro and a close walk to the Spagna metro stop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic. We stayed on the top floor in room 107 which had access to a garden terrace. There are two others with access that also have larger bathrooms, 104 and 106. Our bathroom was on the small side, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable. However, given that this is a big city hotel and the majority of our time was spent out of the room sightseeing, it really didn't bother us. The staff recommended a great restaurant a block away, by the name of Mario. The garden terrace made it really special. All guests have access to it and I believe when the weather is good they serve breakfast up there, too. It was nice enjoying a bottle of wine after a long day of sightseeing outside.

We spent a week at Hotel Parlamento in the "heart of Rome" and were impressed with the warm welcome from Tiziano and all of the staff. The room was a good size, the breakfast (juice, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, assorted bread basket and jams, excellent coffee with heated milk) was a great start to walking to all the sites closeby (Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Victor Emanuel, St. Peter's, Capitoline Museum, Forum). We would highly recommend this hotel, and plan to return ourselves.

A quaint little hotel within a larger apt house. This is a great little hotel. Very kind and helpful staff. Great breakfast in the morning. Bread, yogurt, biscuits, juice and coffee. Clean room, bathroom, Satellite tv. Great location. Near everything, subaway and especially a big bus stop where a lot of routes come through. You walk to Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Spanish Step within minutes.

My husband, my 24 year old daughter and I stayed here for five nights, enroute to a wedding elsewhere in Italy. The hotel is so well situated that we only ever took one taxi--walked to the Vatican, four times to Trevi Fountain, to the Colosseum, etc..
The hosts were more than helpful with suggestions, directions, maps and always cheerful and upbeat.
Our room slept three, in basic comfort but after all that daily walking, getting to sleep was never an issue! Breakfast outside on the sunny roof top patio was a real treat ('though breakfast was rather repetitive after five mornings). The teeny-tiny elevator to the street level was always great fun--you'll know when you try it out with three adults!!
