I love this comfortable hotel! Nice people and fantastic athmosphere! Practically next door to via Nationale with cafes, restoraunts and shops. It is a good desicion for people who prefer to combain these things.

Arrived at Hotel Aberdeen around 10 AM and was told our room was ready, this was a great surprise after a 9 1/2 hour flight. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They explained the transportation system. We were less than a 5 minute walk to the subway and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Termini, the main rail station. We walked to the Spanish Step and the Trevi Fountain, 30 to 45 minute walk. Took the subway to the Vatican and the Coliseum and was there in less than a 1/2 hour. The area felt very safe to walk around. The staff in the evening was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean, the shower was hot and the breakfast every morning was extremely satisfying.

Room Tip: Buy a Roma Pass, it admits you into your first two museums for free and a discount for many more, The pass also gives you access to the bus and subway system for 48 hours. There is another pass so check them both online to find out what be best for you.

I stayed in the Aberdeen Hotel with my elderly parents for two nights in September at the end of a cruise. The hotel was very conveniently located to many sights. Because my parents have trouble walking distances, we did use taxis, but otherwise, we could have walked to many sites. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was generous, and the staff was very helpful.

The location is very convenient, close by the main Termini rail station, and close by two local metro stops (a good map and specific directions would be helpful to find the hotel the first time.) It is located on a safe and relatively quiet street, near plenty of restaurants and shops. You can walk to many of the main tourist attractions (the excellent Museum of Rome is just two blocks away.) My room was very small, but clean and well furnished, with a comfortable firm bed. The bathroom is tiny, but with good hot water. I heard no noise from the street, and little from nearby rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, both in quality and quantity.

We just stayed at Hotel Aberdeen last week for 3 nights. Hotel staff very polite and friendly. Hotel was convenient to train station and local sights. Breakfast ok and rooms clean. Only small issue was thin walls, heard the expresso machine in am, but we were already up. I would stay here again!
