I stayed here in June 2014 before heading off to Sicily. I had previously stayed at this hotel in 2010 and the staff remembered me and welcomed me back. I had a single room which was small but normal by European standards. The room had air conditioning. The bathroom was clean and adequate. Breakfast included cheeses, meats, various cereals and yogurt. They also served croissants, breads, juices and coffee. There is a computer room with internet access and a printer, which is very useful for printing boarding passes. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's located conveniently near the metro and a short walk from Termini station. The Spanish Steps are about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Piazza Barberini is even closer. While it's not technically centrally located, the hotel's location is very convenient.

The hotel was in a quiet and extremely safe area of Rome. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The rooms were very neat and clean, with excellent air-conditioning. It was a very short walk to some fantastic restaurants, shopping and the Termini train station. It was also in easy access to all the local sites of Rome. The breakfast was fresh and had a good variety of food for adults and children. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a convenient location, friendly feel and authentic Rome hotel.

Not sure who wrote the reviews about this hotel being modern... This hotel felt like it had not been updated in decades. Uncomfortable bed, poorly designed shower and no one to help with carrying luggage to the rooms. Also, the front desk never asked for our IDs when we'd return from our adventures around Rome to retrieve our key.. Not safe!

Hotel Aberdeen is a short walk from the Metro and from the train station. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Rooms were clean, okay size. Shower and WiFi worked well. Breakfasts were also good. Our room overlooked the street, not noisy when we were there. There is an elevator somewhat hidden, but when we tried to use it early in the morning it set off the alarms.

A wonderful hotel with a great staff. Located near the Repubblica metro stop. Perfect way to get around to all the sights. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They really made the place. They have a wonderful big breakfast. They rooms are plain and the bathrooms were small, but it meet our expectations. My parents room had much bigger bathroom. The hotel was well priced. I was very happy with hotel, and felt like it was a great value. They also arranged for pickup from the airport, for a excellent fee. We had family staying at hotel nearby that paid almost double for their cab!

Room Tip: Ask for large bathroom. The rooms are all a little different.

I really like that hotel. It's situated in the 19th building, very atmosphere place. the location is great, 10 min walk to Republica metro station and 20 min walk to Termini railway station. There a lot of restaurant and cafes in this area. The room was also very nice and clean. The breakfast was quite tasty, especially I liked cappuccino. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was very well located. The rooms were older but the hotel itself had a very modern and nice environment. The service was very helpful with directions and accommodations. I would recommend taking their shuttle service to the airport- very easy!!!
