Pick one or the other if you HAVE to go to a market. Just a lot of cheap clothes CDs DVDs, jewelry, knock-off bags etc. You will find some good quality military-issued clothes, but that's about it. There's plenty other things to do.,

The market at Via Sannio, often called the American Market, was the perfect spot to pick up the latest trends back in the 70's. Today it is a mix of the tacky made in china clutter, however walk down towards the end and your in for a surprise, four rows of varied stands await, from Military wear both old and new to, leather jackets, clothing, shoes and more. I was able to pick up some decent bargains, though be warned like any good flea market, you have to look around and most importantly do not be sucked in by the eager salesmen. If there is something precise you are looking for, always shop around even if you find the perfect item, as often they are willing to barter. The last piece of advice is to keep your eye out for the gypsies, who love nothing more than scouring for the odd bargain themselves, that being of course your wallet, so make sure your valuables are safe, enjoy the browsing and "tanta fortuna" in finding your bargain.
