There is little we can add to all the rave reviews. This is a true gem in Rome. The staff is top notch. The owners are caring. The rooms well kept and spacious. Breakfast and the dinner appetizers are delicious. Breakfast in the courtyard under the orange trees is lovely. The location is very quiet yet close to many of the major attractions. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel, friendly staff and a very charming atmosphere. The area (Trastevere) is very trendy, there are a lot of nice restaurants around and Colosseum, Vatican, Piazza Navona or Fontana Trevi are all in walking distance.

This is a beautiful, quiet, comfortable hotel with amazing staff, right in the center of busy Trastevere. The location is unbeatable - walking distance (30 min or less) to the Palatine Hill (Colosseum, Forum), Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. Perfect for venturing out into the city for day trips, and then returning to the great nightlife of Trastevere.

It seems far from Termini - but we never had more than at 10 euro cab ride (about 10-15 minutes). With a a 4 minute walk to Ponte Sisto taxi stand, this is comparable to any commute you would get from the hotel district.

Add on top of all of these perks a delicious breakfast assortment, and any equally tasty Mediterranean antipasti assortment during happy hour, and it is pretty much the best value you will find in eternal city.

I traveled to Rome in May with my mother and husband. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite. It was perfect. We woke up to the church bells every morning. The hotel grounds are beautiful. As soon as you set foot outside your suite, you're in an orange grove. The hotel is also located in Trastavere, far from most of the foot traffic you'll run into while in Rome. Yet its very convenient to walk or take public transportation to other parts of Rome. At night we would get some drinks and snacks and sit at the fountain in from of Santa Maria Church and people watch. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Email the hotel directly if you have any questions. They're quick to respond.

This hotel is charming. It was once an old convent built around a courtyard, and so it offers a respite from the hectic city streets. The location is terrific. It's a short walk to the Forum and Colosseum. (That came as a surprise, as I think of Trastevere as the 'far' side of the river.) There's a lot going on in the neighborhood at night-- capoiera in the plaza, tent cafes along the river. We enjoyed the free use of hotel bicycles to ride along the riverbank in the morning.

The staff is friendly, hard working and eager to help. The website doesn't do justice to the warmth and professionalism of the staff --they are top notch. Breakfast is delicious. Wi-fi works very well.

Room Tip: There are some that are further from the main courtyard and thus offer more privacy.
