Stayed 4 nights in Trastavere- this hotel is on the outer edge of that neighborhood & is not particularly close to public transportation except for the line 8 Tram. so prepare to walk/taxi to tourist spots but the pay off is being close to cool nightlife and the rooftop bar is awesome and rare for that area. Matteo at the roofbar is extremely nice & very informative. He took our map to a whole new level with bus/tram and see or skip it info. our room was quiet (3rd floor) even though we were near elevator/stairs. the room decor is sparse, barron, not much to it. the flooring feels like burlap. its very hard on tired feet but the payoff is the big spacious (american sized!) shower. this was our last stop on a 10 day trip and to have room in the shower was huge plus. Breakfast was good, but the area is small & it was crowded everyday we went down there. the tables all seemed set for 2 people and they didn't really bring us more cups/plates/forks so we just shared. coffee is bad but they will make you a cappucino if you ask. service is excellent. front desk is there 24/7 & they printed out several vouchers/tickets internet info that we sent them from our ipad. the only weird thing is they give you this 10 lb key (no lie, its heavy) that they encourage you to leave with them- kinda old school style- not sure why they are still doing this when most have updated to keycards. And having to have your key in the lightswitch gets annoying when there are several guests.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights! Location is not the best to enjoy the main touristic spots of Rome (lots of walking) but neighborhood has good restaurants and a fun vibe! Service was great and staff always helpful ( they all speak english)! Breakfast was the best that we had in Italy, everything high quality! The only downside that we had was with the a/c in our room which was not working, but they offered to change rooms promptly.

Room Tip: We suggest to go to the roof top to have a drink and enjoy some snacks! Barman (mateo) was very nice...

This is a perfectly adequate hotel, though the decor in our bedroom is probably due for an update. However, it was clean and had a good view of rooftops etc from our bedroom window and a nice large bright en-suite bathroom (if noisy, as it faced on the main road). We were on the 4th floor. The hotel is air conditioned. Breakfast is served downstairs on the ground floor, but you can apparently carry it up to the roof terrace if you want. What absolutely makes this hotel is the roof terrace, where there is a barman to serve you drinks from 6 or 6.30 onwards. It is a perfect place to sit before you go out to dinner as there always seemed to be a lovely breeze up there and fantastic views (towards Santa Sabina etc on the other side of the Tiber). You can sit up on the terrace all day long if you like - there is a huge shade, which automatically rolls up if there is too much wind. The other great plus of this hotel is their very friendly staff: I would particularly comment on Matteo and Luigi (the roof terrace bar men) and Titiano (receptionist). Valentina (on reception) was also very helpful. The hotel is on the edge of the most attractive part of Trastevere. We loved Trastevere - much emptier of tourists than places like Campo de Fiori, which was teeming. And it is so attractve. Sit in a bar in Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, facing the church - it is idyllic.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for a room at the back.

The hotel was excellent. Great service, clean rooms and all round excellent experience . The roof garden was brilliant and Matteo was a great host to my family and I. The concierge Tiziano and Massimo could not help enough,

We just returned from 4 nights at this lovely little hotel, located in Trastevere. While the rooms are simple and basic, they are clean and have everything you need. The hotel is well located, close to all the major sites, as well as tons of restaurants in the Trastevere area. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Regardless of the request, they made sure to accommodate. We had no issues with the air conditioner (it was August, and very hot) or the wifi, both worked perfectly fine.

The hotel is located in renewed neighborhood, once of laborers.
There are nice restaurants and authentic cafes.
Is about ten minutes away from the center and therefore convenient to get out on tour. The hotel itself is standard, nothing special, but the staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is a bizarre - everything sweet, you should take insulin with you...
