Food was terrible. Nothing more to say. Went here Friday night and felt I was eating a frozen dinner that thawed out and then was put in the microwave.

€3,50 for ONE scoop of Gilato, we were going to get the ice cream to go, but they insisted on us sitting down, after we were seated we noticed that the couple at the table behind us was segueing with the waiter. Apparently they waiter decided to add an additional item on the ticket worth €15.. They left really mad.

They charge a 10% "Service Fee" which is absolute nonsense, we ate some ice cream, not ordered a 3 course meal !

PLEASE read this and don't go there.

We are so angry with this cafe! We wanted a quick drink after leaving Trevi and making our way to the rugby, and are knowledgeable enough to know to pick a small establishment away from the crowds.
We made a huge mistake with this one, we ordered 2 beers, 2 coffee and a small bottle of water for the four of us We were not asked the size of beer, so imagine our surprise when the beers arrived - a huge 800cl!
At the table behind was an english couple, who were about to leave, and we noticed they left a plate of sandwiches on their table. The man went to pay his bill and said he was going to pay for what he had and no more. The waiters became hostile, tried jostling with the man and threatening. He stood his ground even when they said they would call the police
As to us, there was no way we were going to leave even a drop of beer! We got the bill, a massive €58, which we paid. We were then haranged by our waiter who kept saying " im waiting for my tip!" and following us down the road. We just said no tip as he had upsized the drinks! He eventually shrugged his shoulders and left us.
We then realised that they had also added a 17.5% service charge.
We had such a lovely time in rome, eating in wonderful little reataurents with wine and beers for around €140 for 4 of us, so this experience left such a sour taste in the mouth I just wish we could put a warning sign up on their wall to prevent anyone using this place!
it would be hard to pre check this cafe before your trip, which is why trip advisor should have a seperate list of banned places, they dont even deserve one star!
If you do read this review before your visit, just avoid like the plaque no matter how desperate you are for a sit down.

Pizza at 10 euros looked ok, but then we were badgered to make drink orders, asked is we wanted large ones - only to find 11 euros for coke and 10 for cappuccino. 17% service charge. Altogether unpleasant

Coming from an Italian background and the fact that we had been to Rome numerous times before we would never eat at a place as this as we knew it would be terrible and we would get robbed price wise.

In desperation we sat down to get a quick coffee, only to be abused then ignored once they realised we were not going to order food.

Even though the waiter knew that we understood Italian he still sat down with his friend had a coffee and abused the clientele in Italian.

It was only when the bill came that we had asked for three times, that he said he liked us and we were nice people hoping to get the change from the ridiculas charge of 29 euro.

This place should be ignored in the hope that it shuts down never to open again!
