This magnificent church, right in the middle of piazza Navona was one of the beautiful churches we have seen in Rome. It is not so big compare to other ones we visited, but Bermini did great work over here. - Recommended.

We stumbled upon this church in the Piazza Navona--it wasn't in our guide book--but I was so glad. It is 17 century baroque architecture and very beautiful, like many other churches in Rome. The interior marble reliefs, however, were unusual and were exceptional in their quality and life-like depictions. In concave niches, statues of historical figures and saints come part way out of the marble to reach toward each other in scenes of great emotion and movement. The faces are so beautifully sculpted and expressive. As an artist, I marvel at the skills and creativity of the artisans who created this church.

My dad and I recently were on vacation in Rome, Italy, and we took a private tour of the city with Romasi tours with Carlos Sotelo as our guide, and he was absolutly wonderful, very courteous and friendly. He was very knowledgable about the history of the city and all of the tourist attractions (Trevi Fountian, Spanish Steps, The Coliseum, . I would highly recommend to anyone vacationing in Rome and looking for a tour guide to use him. He made our stay in Rome that much more enjoyable!!!! Cynthia King, Columbus, Ohio

Step away from the chaos at the Piazza Navona to enjoy the peace and quiet of Saint Agnes. It is absolutely beautiful.
