A very nice B&B located close to metro stop line A. Good breakfast and the owners are very accommodating, and always greeted us with a smile. They have tour books available in different languages, which were very helpful. The room was quiet and extremely clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the B&B.

I had the pleasure of staying at Caesars House in August of 2012, prior to a Mediterranean cruise. All interactions with Claudio and Valerio prior to my arrival were polite, professional and accommodating.
Claudio is a lovely soft spoken woman who provided us with a vast amount of books to review a map, home baked goods along with an assortment of teas, coffees and a healthy amount of fresh cheese, meat and fruit for breakfast each day. Her assistant always had our room clean and phoned for our taxis that always seem to arrive on time.
The rooms were modern, the beds were comfortable, they also have a safe for your belongings and large closets to hang your clothing in.
The neighborhood itself is residential and steps from the Tiber River.
Having never been to Rome before the location is close enough to walk to the Vatican city and other points of interest in central Rome.
If I ever return to Rome I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Both rooms are lovely.

I made reservations for Caesar's House based on all the reviews. Everyone was right...the place is excellent! The accommodations were pristine, breakfast was excellent (good espresso!), fresh pastries, fresh-squeezed orange juice, ham, cheese, bread. The air conditioner was better than at my house, and remote-controlled. Claudia was sooo nice and ready to help us in any way. Breakfast was on the table at the time we chose. The location was good in that it was a more residential area. To give you an idea, we walked to the Vatican in about 10 minutes. We walked to all the main attractions, and it was enjoyable to begin the day by taking a quiet stroll instead of being thrown into the masses of people in the city center. Another positive about walking was that we were able to eat at local restaurants on our way home instead of the tourist-packed ones at each attraction. After breakfast, we took the elevator from 3rd floor, sipped our coffee, and watched Romans begin their day. People were out walking their dogs, sipping coffee, etc. It was pleasant. After being in the heat with the masses of people, our room at Caesar's House was a cool, quiet, haven! The Metro station (Lepanto) is around the corner, and the metro was easy to navigate. Remember, this is a local residence in the city, so there aren't any big signs indicating that "you've arrived". The address is correct, you just need to find "Caesar's House" on the address board at the building's entrance, push the button, say your name, and Claudia will buzz the door opened. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor, and she will be waiting for you. We really enjoyed meeting her. We want to go back to Rome just to visit with her again. Enjoy!

Room Tip: There are three rooms, so book fast.

We recently stayed at Caesar’s Guest house and were so impressed by it. It is an apartment on the 3rd floor and Claudia the owner lives in one section and the rooms (obviously previous bedrooms) have been converted into guest rooms with ensuites. There was a lot of effort put into our comfort. The bedding/pillows were of a very high quality. The room was very well laid out and they have tried to think of everything a guest would need to be comfortable. The TV was huge if that is important to you. Claudia checked each evening what time we would like breakfast and it was set out waiting for us, by the lovely young man she has working there. Freshly squeezed juice, croissants, cake, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, toast, yoghurt. Claudia could not do enough for us. My husband had a medical issue and enquired where he could get a dr and she made an appointment with her own GP and drove him there! Caesars is probably a 15 min walk from the centre of Rome, however we found it very peaceful after the chaos of the day.It is close to the Vatican City. It was very easy to get to from the train station via the Metro which is 300m down the road. We would highly recommend Caesars House.
