An awe inspiring church with a rich history, especially for the Dominican order. St. Catherine of Sienna is buried here and that alone is religiously significant. Church has a true artistic treasure -- a sculpture of Christ by Michelangelo. Just behind the Pantheon and close to Piazza Navona it is truly a church worth visiting in a city with so many.

The church is beautiful for both the painted ceiling and art throughout.

It's really nice to tour these churches because you can just pop in for 30 minutes and see them. No line and no fee.

Better than the pantheon, this church included stunning art and yet another ceiling to leave you awestruck. History and art 360 degrees

I'm from New Orleans and graduated from Dominican High School. We always prayed to St. Catherine. Now my son is attending St. Catherine of Siena grammar school so I felt the need to see the relic of St. Catherine of Siena while in Rome. This church is full of Gothic architecture and just stunning. The ceiling is full of bright blue paint and filled with gold stars. Beautiful!!

Everything in Rome seems beautiful but this one is really beautiful. We really enjoyed walking through the church and seeing the beautiful detailed craftsmanship of this church. I was with teens and they seemed to enjoy it too.
