We stumbled across LA Base when walking near to The Colliseum. I was looking for a suitable restaurant for a 20th anniversary meal. I wasn't sure at first from the outside as it looked a bit American with its decor, but was pleasantly surprised. The service was good and staff friendly, and a three course meal for two with wine came in at about 50 Euros, very reasonable. I noted that a lot of the customers were Italian and as this restaurant is a bit off the main route this can only be a good indication that it is popular with the locals. Recommended and I would definitely eat there again if I go back to Rome.
