Recently we were lucky to be able to go on a night tour of the Roman Forum. While we have visited the Roman Forum many times during the day, we had only had glimpses of it from the street (Via die Fori imperial) at night until now. The Temple of Castor and Pollux (also known as the Dioscuri, or the "twins" of Gemini, they were the twin sons of the god Jupiter and Leda) now consists of three lovely columns. At night, when beautifully lit, the temple is a sight to behold.
