This is located on a major boulevard in Rome. It is fun to try to imagine what it was like in the days when the Romans wandered the streets

I went to the 10:00pm show and it was fantastic. Very clever use of lights and shadows along with a good narration of what you are looking at. This was a highlight of my trip to Rome.

We were group of friends, who went 10 days road trip through all Italy. This was one of our destination to see.... Unfortunately we did not went inside, as there was que for tickets - at least for 1km, also, that day was 40 degrees heat.... Book fast track tickets, if you going to see....

This was more expensive than any other museum we visited in Rome but worth every penny (so to speak!) This shows a shopping centre (!) that is eerily close to what we have now (minus the plastic flooring and lighting!). It is very we preserved and is an excellent show of general life. You can walk in and out of the ‘shops’ and go to the roof and look down on the road below (with more ruins), there is a cobble street that all the shops open into. There is also a changeover of installation art put in which is quite nice.

We went to the show last Monday, June 23. Really excellent presentation of the story of the Forum, rich in details and fascinating information. Skilfull use of the lights and of projections to recreate the history and beauty of the monuments that stood in the area 2000 years ago. In our group there was an 8-year old child who fully enjoyed the show. Much better than the disappointing Time Elevator, also in Rome. We strongly advise anyone who wants to get a glimpse of Rome's past splendour to go to the show, apparently it's only going to run until mid September 2014. Hopefully, Rome City Council will consider running similar shows in other parts of the ancient Roman ruins.
