“Awe inspiring!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2014

One of my favourite of Rome churches located near Santa Maria Maggiore. A hidden gem from the 9th century ... with amazing byzantine mosiacs. Have a seat in a pew ... and take a moment to take it all in. Beautiful ... special.

“Lovely...a long way to the top though”

If you are going to climb this and claustrophobic, then I wouldn't bother! However I climbed it and the views of the city are breathtaking - I fell in love with Rome

“Not impressive from the outside, but”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014

The inside was much nicer than the outside would indicate. A few minutes walk from the entrance to S. M. Maggiore so why pass it up. Wonderful mosaics and artwork. Drop 1 euro in the box to light it up to fully appreciate mosaics.
