Hotel was very well located within walking distance of all the major tourist spots like the Vatican, Colleseum, Trevi Fountain, Navona, etc. Hotel room is clean, friendly staff, free WIFI, with good breakfast. We were provided with maps for tourist attractions and also restaurants.

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors not facing main road are quiet

We arrived at Hotel Adriano a little after midday and were pleased to learn that our room would be ready in 10 minutes time, and it was. Often rooms are not available until after 2pm, but this was not the case here. We had reserved, and paid for an 'exclusive' room in the Domus Adriani part of the hotel, however on arrival we were told that we had been allocated a deluxe room in the main hotel which was of the same quality. We were asked if we had received communication from the hotel to this effect, we had not, and were offered no more explanation than that there was 'a problem' with the other rooms. We were a little disappointed, but chose not to make a fuss until we had seen our room. The room we had been allocated was spacious, modern and well appointed; there was no view to speak of, but then that is to be expected with a city hotel such as this. My only criticism would be that the shower door opened inwards, and it would be difficult for anyone broader than myself to close once inside. I was also surprised that the hotel did not have and iron and ironing board available. The public areas of the hotel are of a good standard, and the decor is tasteful and welcoming; the breakfast is simple but adequate; and there is also a 'Gin Corner' which is excellent. We had little cause for interaction with the staff during our stay, however when we did our exchanges were pleasant, and the staff efficient. We would certainly consider this hotel when we return to this wonderful city!

Room Tip: We would recommend booking a deluxe room, if your budget allows!

Dear Guest,

We are glad to be responding to your positive review to our Hotel.

We apologize for the room change but we are pleased that you were satisfied with the room.
Typically in a smaller Hotel there is little request for an iron and ironing board but we will consider it for the future.

We thank you for appreciating the decor and ... The Gin Corner our newest addition, which continues to be a success.

Best Regards

We went to Rome for half term week to celebrate my 50th birthday. The hotel was clean, had friendly staff & the breakfast was great, a lot of choice. The only complaint is the hotel is on a one way system and the first night I noticed the noise of the traffic, after that I was so tired I slept well! The hotel is just round the corner for the Piazza Navona, a delightful busy Piazza. We walked to all of the major sites and only used the tube to go 2 stops on one of the days as it was quite warm and we had walked all day. If we return to this beautiful city we will stay in this hotel again. The streets in Rome look very similar so we had great fun finding the sites and every corner and something to look at! There was an abundant of eateries close to the hotel. We paid between 30 and 50 euros for a meal and drinks.

A terrific place to stay if you are interested in being conveniently located vis a vis Rome's major attractions. We could walk to most, and we are pretty old. Also near scores of wonderful places to eat, drink, and people-watch. The breakfasts are serious, and the gin bar even more so. Wonderfully professional staff at all levels. We visited in October and chose a room with a terrace...we think this made a tremendously positive difference in terms of the feeling of space it provided, though more expensive, of course. A/C, which remarkably we needed a couple of times, was very quiet and very efficient. Great experience.

Room Tip: Like many European hotels, the standard rooms seem very small. Choosing a room with a terrace helps...

Dear Guest ,

We thank you for writing such positive comments.

We are glad that your stay was pleasant and you enjoyed our Hotel, your room with terrace, our Staff, breakfast and The Gin Corner.
October in Rome is still a month where the weather could be warm, but in particular this October it was remarkably summer weather. Now we are at the beginning of November and the temperature is still warm!

We hope you come to visit us again at Hotel Adriano.

All the Best

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and daughter. As has already been said, the location is excellent, not just for walking to all of the major attractions but also to find good quality and reasonably priced restaurants nearby.
The hotel itself is lovely with a boutique feel to it. We really enjoyed the Gin Bar, a fantastic choice and great service.
We stayed in the Junior Suite which was fine for 3 of us and better value than having 2 rooms. Breakfast was good and we found the staff friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review.

We are pleased to read that you appreciated our excellent location and as you stated not just for the sites but we happen to be in one of the most exclusive parts of the historic centre.

We are happy that you enjoyed our cosy family run hotel and our new addition Gin Bar which was launched on June 10th and it has been appreciated by most reviewers, thank you for this!

It is gratifying for us to read that you liked the Junior Suite, our breakfast and our staff.

Hoping to see you again, Best Regards

It's a good hotel and it's located in a very good neighbourhood of Rome. The only problem I had was that the wi-fi wasn't working inside the rooms and I had to go to the lobby to have an internet connection. And also if you rented a car, you'll have to look for a parking lot, because the nearest one costs 50 euros per day.

Dear Guest,

Thanks for you good comments about us.

We are in the process of changing our Wi-Fi Service as we noticed it didn't service us and our guests properly, we apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused you.

For your information the Parking lot next to the Hotel does not belong to the Hotel and in the center of Rome there are few parking lots available so they cost a lot.
So readers who want to rent a car in Rome should be aware of the additional cost of a garage.

Thanks for choosing our Hotel Adriano to spend you vacation in Rome.

Best Regards
