“Short But Sweet!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 April 2014

We stayed only one night at Hotel Milani, as we were arriving by train from Florence in the evening and due to fly back to the states the next day. As we were only spending an overnight in Florence, prior to arriving back in Rome, we were able to leave our larger bags in the secured baggage area available at the Hotel Milani on that Friday. So much easier to travel lightly on the train! This was greatly appreciated! Once we were back in Rome, the desk personnel gave us a great tip for a wonderful restaurant just a couple of blocks up from the hotel. (I plan to review that separately). Our room was clean and neat, with all the modern amenities. Their was a nice buffet breakfast provided. If you are looking for accomodations near Termini Station, II would recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Our room was on the third floor, near the elevator. Slept well.

The is a basic, cosy Italian hotel worth it's price. The location is convenient, although the Termini area is not one of the most pleasant in the city. But most of the public transport lines cross here.
The hotel itself provides good rooms (our was superior double), clean and with the usual facilities, which also worked! Good breakfast included the usual items, something for every taste. Personnel are friendly, helpful and possess good or at least sufficient command of the English language. The cleanliness was somewhat overdone, all towels were changed every day!

We stayed at Milani on our last night. we chose this hotel because it's close to the centrel bus station. the room are nice, great service from the staff. we didn't have any hot water but the problem was solved pretty quickly. if you get a reasonable price stay at this hotel. i didn't love the Neighborhood, but in total for traveling on a budget it's a good find.

We visited Rome some years ago and promised ourselves a return, even though we had a bad experience with a taxi driver. My first advice is do not use rome taxis.
With this in mind, we booked hotel Milani, very close to the Termini. This is a very good, clean budget hotel, which we found very easily, we stayed for three nights. The staff were helpful, nothing too much trouble.
It is unlikely we will return to Rome a third time, but if we do, will be happy to stay at Milani.
Termini is a busy transit area, with many people sleeping rough, this is not the fault of the hotels in the area. Go to any major city and you will find poverty.

Basic hotel, small rooms but very clean and centrally located.

A good choice if you'd rather spend your money on enjoying your break...than paying for where you stay.

The breakfast was very basic and we chose to eat elsewhere rather than in the hotel.

Would not pay more than 50 euros per night for the hotel.

I spent 4 nights at this hotel from 25 December 2013 till 29 December 2013 . Very old hotel in a very dirty area of Rome . Rooms were badly decorated and very tiny . We were given 2 tiny rooms where we could barely place our luggage . By South African standards , it was nowhere near 3 star status and would have only got a 1 star rating . Only plus factor is its proximity to Rome termini station . Would ideally suit students traveling as backpackers if they changed their exorbitant rates .An absolute disappointment and NOT for. Families .Wifi was exceptionally bad - we had to go to the hotel lobby to access Internet .
