“I LOVE THIS B&B”
Reviewed 25 July 2014

My husband and I travelled to Rome with our friends, also a couple. This B & B has four rooms and we stayed at the Charlie Chaplin room. Our room was very clean, quiet and sunny, overlooking a square. From our room, we could hear the bells of St. Peter's Basilica. The owners, Simona and Valeria are friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, Valeria gave us a map and circled all places that we could go to by just walking. Elena made sure that we had everything we needed in our room. Breakfast was good and satisfying. We loved the antique but very efficient lift that took us to the third floor. This B & B has a very good location, a few minutes walk to the Vatican, very close to good restaurants, souvenir shops and is just a walking distance to Via Cola di Rienzo a long street which has good clothing and shoe stores and restaurants and also a fruit market. Also, on Via Cola Di Rienzo there is a big department store called Coin. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to our friends. I love this B&B.

Room Tip: The Charlie Chaplin room is quiet and sunny.

My husband, myself and our young adult sons had 2 rooms at this lovely B&B. We all were impressed with the rooms and service. Waking up to delish coffee and breakfast was so nice. The views and location were perfect. Both rooms were big, clean and comfortable. Our family was staying at a hotel around the corner were also impressed with our accommodations. We all are coming back and staying here.

Excellent location , minutes walk from the Vatican and tour bus stop. We stayed in the 'Charlie Chaplin' room which was very clean tidy, modern and well furnished. Entry to the B&B was off a street with several well priced restaurants offering good menu's of quality food. Unfortunately the owners weren't available to meet us on our arrival, however the keys were left at a local bar. On meeting the owners, they are friendly and clearly enthusiastic about their business. Breakfast was typical continental and overseen by the smiling owners. The lift to the 3rd floor where the B&B is located was a very pleasant surprise, with glass doors and a pull across shutter.
Loved this place.!!!

Room Tip: The Charlie Chaplin room faced onto a large 'square' with the back of other buildings that w...

We have just returned from a wonderful stay over the Easter time at this small and friendly B & B just 4 mins walk from the Vatican. Valeria and Simona were very welcoming and gave us maps and local information regarding travel and shopping. We would like to thank Elena for waiting for us as we arrived a little late. All four rooms are based on a movie theme and we were in the Woody Allen room over looking a typical square reminiscent of ‘Rear Window’ with the Vatican building in the distance. The room has all you need from toiletries, clean towels and spotless white Egyptian bed linen. Breakfast is plentiful with cereal, bread rolls, ham cheese, toast, jams, fruit, yoghurt, croissant and cakes. A great selection of teas including breakfast, green tea, earl grey herbal and more. Coffee and other drinks available. The kitchen is available for use thoughout the day should you need it with a kettle, toaster and microwave. A great home from home experience. A lovely touch was a gift of Easter eggs on the table at breakfast on Easter Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B especially for those wishing to take a pilgrimage or just to visit St Peter’s Square as there is literally just a short walk through the underpass to reach the Vatican.
Many restaurants and supermarkets are nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the Via Cola di Rienzo where there are numerous shops for shoes, clothes and a department store and a food market. We also enjoyed the quaint lift which takes you to the rooms on the third floor of the building. For those arriving by air, there is a Sitbus shuttle which runs from the airport direct to Via Crescenzio for 6 euro each way, and takes around 40 mins. Allow a 15–20 min walk to the B & B as there is a cobbled walkway and suitcases to carry. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the perfect B&B, it is just a stone throws away from the Vatican. Great little places to eat are near by, though I did not use all the recommendations of the staff. At first I was unsure of location when booking, I am glad I chose this location. Valerie and Simone were most friendly. Our room was a good size and the bathroom was also fair in size. The shower was a bit awkward and if you have need space in the shower this may not work for you. I would stay here again with no hesitation what so ever.

My husband and I stayed here on our way in and out of Italy in October for our honeymoon. The hotel was clean and a reasonable rate. There was a bit of a smell in our room and the bed left a lot to desired as it was a bit hard; however, the location of this B&B could not have been better. Valerie and Simona were hospitable and let us drop off our luggage early before we checked in on our last night, which allowed us to run around the city with ease. Overall, I would consider staying here again when in Rome.

We stayed there at the beginning and end of our trip to Italy. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Best of all, it was ready when we arrived at 10 a.m. with no additional charge. It was great to be able to leave our luggage and get a shower before seeing the sites. The location was great. An easy walk to most sites and near bus and train stations for longer trips.

The hosts were kind and helpful as well. We had to leave before the official breakfast time on two mornings. One day they packed us a breakfast and the other day they got up early so we could eat before heading out to the airport. We can't recommend this place highly enough. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Rome.
