From the warm welcome, to the amazing breakfast, the clean and well kept rooms to 'Happy hour' and free Wifi this hotel has it all. Lovely staff, very efficient, nothing is too much trouble and really we could not fault it at all.

I spent a week at the River Palace hotel last November, first with a bunch of colleagues for a meeting, then with my wife for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the place (small -60 rooms-, clean, warm hotel), the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet and happy hour were a great success. Very good value for money!

The only negative remark is about the room size (too tiny) and the lake of a coffee / tea pot. Otherwise, everything else is excelent: very clean, staff very friendly, close to all touristic places, close to Metro, very good breakfast, free internet, 18:00 - 22:00 happy hour at the bar, anything (except coffee and champain) half the price. Will recomd it for friends and would come again.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights to experience Rome. I thought the street where the hotel is situated looked a bit dodgy but once I realised how close the beautiful Popalo square was and the metro being 2 mins away thought it really didn’t matter.
I loved the hotel and thought it had many little touches 5 star hotels normally have and have stayed in much worse 5 stars! Yes the rooms and en-suite were a touch on the small side but was totally workable, it was clean and cute.
I have recommended this hotel to family who have now been too and loved it just as much as i did. When I return to Rome again, I know where I’ll be staying.

This hotel, from the street, is unpretentious, but once inside you discover its real value.
The reception staff speak perfect english and are courteous, helpful and efficient--the bellboys are equally good. There's no need to go for a room at a higher standard than 'superior'--it is all that is needed.
The buffet breakfast is among the best we've experienced in Europe.
The location is such that, if you're a keen walker, the most distant of Rome's attractions is St Peters, 45 minutes away and the Trevi Fountain is 12 minutes away.
Great spot!!
