The room decor was cute and the place had charm. With the metro we thought a location away from the tourism would be quieter but it was still very loud at night due to the windows being only one pane. There are no curtains, only outside shutters which still let in a lot of light. We were on the third floor in the farthest room and the Internet was spotty, we only got two bars at the most and it would go in and out. If this happens we would ask them to reset the router and it would get better for a while but then go back to disappearing again. Our shower also clogged and we would shower with a pool of water around our feet. The Tuscan restaurant that was recommend was way overpriced 15-20€ per pasta plate), the pasta was under cooked and they charged us 8€ cover fee (the highest we paid in all of Italy, including Venice). The Sicilian cafe recommend was very good.

This place is great with great service, you really feel welcome and the owners do everything to make you comfortable and happy! The location is a bit off but doesn't matter as the metro is just around the corner, about 5 mins with the metro and you end up at Spagna or the shopping district around via di . This is definitely a place we will return to when in Rome.

We stayed in Rome for 5 nights and made day trips to Florence and Pisa. Imperia suite has family size room for 4, and more importantly it is clean. We paid 90€ per night and it is in a nice residential area near the university. It is five minutes walk from Linea B Policlinico with corner shops for bus, metro tickets and supermarket nearby. Very useful for bottle water if you are visiting Rome in summer. You can get 6x2L bottles from 1.50€! Good size shower cubicle and it even has a bidet. Antony a friendly care-taker and always serves with a smile. Good simple continental breakfast and Ludovico the friendly owner can recommend a good few local restaurants. Trust me, they are better than the tourist trap restaurants near famous landmarks in Rome. I will stay here again as I have thrown my coins into Trevi Fountain. I hope Antony will continue to keep this place clean.

Little difficult to find (just a doorbell sign), but brand new renovated with superfriendly staff. We had the roof suite with private terrasse wich was great to relax in the warm pre-summer evening. View over the other roofs, comfortable bed. Tall people has to be aware of the low ceiling especially in the bathroom!
No lift but no problem. Italian breakfast with good cappucino in the tiny courtyard.
Easy to get there by public transport, just 2 stops from Termini.
Would stay there always again! Thanks, Veronica and Ludovico!

We are young polish couple, living in Dublin. We went to Rome with my mom from 7 to 14 of may 2012. The owners of this b&b are very nice, Veronica is half Polish and he is Italian. They told us where to go, how to get there, where to eat. They were very helpfull. Breakfast was dowstairs prepared by Antonio (very friendly staff), there was tea, coffee and pastries. Kitchen was open 24 h a day, so u could have coffee at any time of the day.. B&b is 2 min from metro Policlinico from which u can get to anywhere u want (Coloseum is just 4 stops away).
Rooms were large and clean, with well working, free wi-fi. There was a nice size tv but only italian chanells, however u will have no time to watch it, believe me.
Well recommended.
