First European trip was rewarded with a find of this hotel. Cozy and comfortable, clean and quiet...compared to the 4-star we stayed in one night this hotel beat it hands down...especially with the "5-star" breakfast! The staff was very helpful from setting up tours to recommending superb local food.

We stayed for 5 nights in this hotel recently. Bearing in mind this is a 3 star hotel it was well worth the money - we had a good deal through Lastminute.com. The location is just outside the city walls, note this for the taxi from the airport. It was very quiet, clean, friendly staff (although one receptionist wasn't very helpful) and the breakfast was more than adequate. Always a selection of fresh breads, cakes and fruit. It's in a nice area with lots of nice restaurants within easy walking distance. Agree with one reviewer, it would have been good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room as I can't function without an early coffee! Would certainly book again.

I chose this hotel for our stay in Rome. Centrally located close to the Metro station, restaurants, Gelato etc...

The rooms are clean, staff are healpful and the safe in the rooms are a great feature.

The Wi-Fi could use an upgrade it is very slow and even when you are connected it won't load your website. No matter if you are in your room or the lobby. The receptionist gave me a LAN cable and that was the best thing ever... Talk about High-speed! :)

Breakfast was good but could use a little more variety and ketchup is a MUST for your eggs!

I will stay here again, it is so close to Terminii by taxi or Metro!

Room Tip: Ask for LAN cable!

The hotel is very cozy abd romantic, food was great and the service too, the staff was very friendly. There are nice restaurants and some small shops close to the hotel so it was very convenient.
One small disatvantage- no pot to boil water for tea in the room.

Despite being somewhat far from the city center it is worth its value.
In general it is a small comfortable hotel where you can have a good night's sleep or eat a very nice breakfast (above the average of a 3-star hotel).
The warm temperature inside the hotel was constant - lobby, corridors, bedrooms - which was important because it was freezing outside.
If you do not mind to walk for a few minutes to get to the underground or bus, this is the right one for you. Take the chance to visit typical cafés, markets or shops.
I definitely would recommend it to any of my friends or relatives.

my husband and I stayed at Lloyd hotel for three nights on a city break to Rome. The hotel is rated with 3 stars but if you ask me is 4 stars. The hotel is very clean, spotless, the staff is helpful and the room size is quite good. The lobby is not a wow but it is getting refurbished so don"t be put off by the entrance. Our room was large size, very clean, smelled amazing and the cleaner came everyday to make up the room. It has all the facilities that a hotel room needs including slippers. As it was winter we were worried if is going to be cold in the room but the heating was on and it gave you a warm feeling. The breakfast was really, really good, plenty of choice, fresh, fruits, vegetables and juice,and...cakes of all sorts.I liked the fact that the breakfast was from 7 to 11 am we could sleep a little bit longer and still eat. You can get a city map free from the hotel and all the information you need ,from the reception. The hotel is 15 away from Termini station and quite close to the city centre. If you like to walk you can get anywhere in max 20 minutes, but otherwise you can go on to the street and take any bus. So my overall impression is as i stated , very good, and I do recommend it to anyone , no matter why you are in Rome.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a king bed size....although i think all of them have one.

At the beginning I was skeptical about this hotel. But I was wrong. The hotel is located on a very quiet street.Nearby is a bus stop .Line 60 will take you to Pallaza Venezia and 62 to Vatican city.Line 90 is direct to Termini. The hotel us very nice. The breakfast is perfect. The personal is very nice and always ready to help or assist. One of the best side is that the hotel is located at not a tourist area and you can feel the real Italian atmosphere. For the evenings you can enjoy two perfect restaurants close to the hotel. The pizzaria Al Balestrari and my favourite Al Padovano - where you can enjoy delicious homemade Italian food.
