Stayed here for five nights a week ago. Easy to find- just 3-4 blocks from Roma Termini. Close to the Metro and bus stations. Rooms are dated and plumbing not so good, but service and staff are wonderful. Breakfast is also good. Would stay here again.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. Had no problems finding it because of its proximity to the station. It is centrally located with an easy access to market and local restaurants. Rooms are clean and adequate in size and the staff is friendly.

Stayed at the San Remo for 4 nights and it was a very good hotel. Could do with a bit of decoration but was in good spot for all the sites. Drawback was that the Trevi Fountain was not working due to maintenace work same for the Spanish steps. The fountain at the bottom of the steps was all covered up. But all in all a great stay in Rome and very friendly staff at the hotel

Room Tip: Had a room overlooking a courtyard and it was a bit dark

Had 3 nights here in July.
Found the hotel with ease from the Termmini bus station after taking the TAM bus from the airport.
The hotel is classic in style with a descent reception.
The staff were very friendly and helpful with good English skills.

The rooms are a fair size for a city hotel with a bath in our room and lots of hot water. Bed was a double and was pretty comfy.

The breakfast was described as full but didn't have any bacon or the like but there were cold cuts and cheese with fruit and bread. Several cereal options with open use hot and cold drinks.

The bar was good and reasonable priced.
Security boxes are free but in the luggage room.
WIFI. Was free but very slow.

If I could suggest any improvements it would be to put tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.

If I was to go to rome again I would consider this hotel and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: High floor, take a kettle

Rome was to be the last week of our 13 week holiday of the UK and Europe. It proved to be the most disappointing. We booked this Hotel, a seven night stay, eight (8) months in advance. The day before we were to check in, we received notification that the San Remo Hotel no longer had a room for us. This left us in Rome, in peak season, and looking for accommodation, for seven nights, commencing the very next day - a nigh impossible task. How does one find a Hotel in Rome that's decent, in a safe part of the city and a reasonable distance from the City Centre with only one day's notice? One doesn't!

Room Tip: Not a good idea to book with this Hotel unless you're happy to risk being left without any place to stay with only one day's notice.
