“Quite Good but not perfect”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 September 2012

I stayed two separate nights 9/7/12 and 9/15/12, and found the hotel attractive, the room very nice, good wi-fi, excellent included breakfast with all kinds of breakfast items, friendly staff. It worried me that there was no secure place to leave luggage before the room was ready, but I left by the stairs as the concierge advised, and it was not harmed. Also on the first night, the room was hot as they had not turned on the AC, and no one offered to carry my luggage to the room; I had to ask forA/C directions and learn how you stick the room key in a slot on arrival. The second time I asked for luggage help and it was cheerfully provided by a man who vanished before I could tip him. The second night the toilet was making running noises but I was too tired to tell anyone; might have been fixed if I had asked. I would go back another time. Concierge was helpful on directions and getting taxis.

Our stay in Rome was just perfect. Lovely town, welcoming and comfortable hotel not far from the city center. The staff was very kind to us. They helped us with public transport and with the currency. The staff helped us choose restaurants to eat good Italian food and save money. Rome is very expensive in the city center, but you can save a lot of money if you know where to go. This is also true for our hotel: not far from the city center (10 minutes by bus or taxi) and less expensive. Everything was perfect. Comfortable and spacious room, clean bathroom, good food. Absolutely recommended!

I stayed one night at the Ateneo Garden Palace last month for a mini conference in Rome (held in the same hotel). The management of the hotel is excellent: punctual and precise organization. My check in was very fast, then I entered my room located on the second floor facing an inner courtyard and wow it was very bright and quiet, clean and tidy. I loved the look of the room decor which was stilish but not pretentious. Good room service (free internet, air conditioning, minibar, safe deposit box). helpful and very nice staff. Price….a little pricey, but I often go to Rome and I noticed that the price of other hotels are nearly the same. Breakfast is served on the top floor  but I preferred to get it delivered in my room because the difference on the total bill was ridiculous. The only flaw: there is not a fitness area that I always use when I travel to relax after work. However, I folded a walk in the center (the hotel is 10 minutes by taxi from the Pantheon). Overall highly recommended.

Charming 4 stars hotel near Termini station, in the center of Rome, not far from the main monuments.
Highly qualified staff, very suitable for business lunch on the roof garden with panoramic view. The lobby, comfortable and stylish is perfect for business meeting too.
Meeting room large enough, with about 40 seats, equipped with everything you need for a conference. Bright and spacious room with comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Good food and free internet connection.
Recommended.

We really enjoyed staying in this small, quiet oasis right behind the Termini Train Station. It's a short however not very nice or easy walk to the hotel but once you get there it's all very charming. Great and helpful staff, clean spacious rooms. We'd recommend the ones down stairs as they have their own small patios facing the lush garden. Another great thing is the free wifi and the wonderful roof garden where breakfast is served. The breakfast is fairly elementary but the terrace itself is absolutely wonderful.

I stayed in this hotel in May 2012 during a business journay. The hotel is located near the central station (Termini) in the university area, out from the traffic.
Despite the 4 stars and the price per room per night the level of the service is not very high: furnitures are old, and the ambient a bit decadent. The room is however quite large considering you are in Rome. The wi-fi connection never worked for two days.
The breakfast is served in a magnificient roof terrace, but the food is very standard. The fruit is not fresh and only chees and ham are available.
In general the price is too high compare to the level of the service

I stayed here for business so did not spend too long enjoying the garden or the lounge but it all looked very comfortable and attractive. the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. I would come back on a weekend break if I had the chance. The restaurants around the hotel are very authentic and reasonably priced.

Room Tip: My room had a lovely balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Not all rooms do.
