We ate outside and found the service to be excellent - unobtrusive, attentive when needed, friendly and charming at all times. The food was tasty and well presented and there was a good selection of wines (though I thought these were somewhat over priced). We didn't get to meet Sophia sadly!

We needed the loo. in Rome it is not easy to find on on ground level..We went in. May we? A beaming smile. Of course.The decor was perfect. We stayed and was delighted with the service, the food and ambience. I had fish with beetroot sauce. Excellent and tiramasu..like gossamer wings. Perfect

Pretty plates and great visually, but completely lacked flavor. My husband ordered the gnocchi with was about one and a half cups. He said it tasted fine, but was super small. I ordered the seabass and it was about a 3 oz portion and was not seasoned at all. The prices were expensive given was you got. The only reason I gave this place 3 stars and not lower was because they did have a high chair for my baby and also a changing table in the bathroom (which in Italy is pretty rare).

This is my very 1st complaint about food in Italy...by far the worst place we ate in our 17 days in Italy!!!!! My husband ordered the shrimp pasta after the staff recommended it, and it was horrific. I believe if he ate it he would have gotten sick. It was the bad seafood taste. The owners walked by multiple times, blatantly seeing his plate full, and never asked if his dish was ok. He finally informed the staff that it was not good. They did not ask him if he wanted a different dish. And to our shock, they still charged us for it!!!!!!! Of course we were appalled and asked that it be taken off the check. It makes me gag even thinking about the smell of his dish. So many good restaurants in Rome...do not waste your time here.

Highly recommend Sophia! Great service, very welcoming place and by far was our best meal in Rome!
