This hotel is full of charm and character. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff never hesitated in making suggestions where to visit or eat and when we required something out of the ordinary (screwdriver), they were only too happy to assist.

The rooms were small but were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Rome Termini and close to all restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout and is equipped with a lovely old fashioned elevator for those who don’t want to take the stairs.

We were never disappointed and would return again without hesitation.

I recently went to Rome for a birthday celebration. I checked with Tripadvisor when making my hotel choice as I always do. This hotel had a lot of good reviews but also some bad ones. I booked anyway and I was so glad I did. The hotel was everything I expected. The rooms were small but were clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful, especially Cristina and Tomasino. They recommended trips and restaurants and were spot on with these. We were never disappointed. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Termini and close to a supermarket. You can buy 1day ticket for 6 euros from reception and this can be used for either bus or train as many times as you want in that day. I would go back to the Andreotti in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a lower floor as it can be difficult to close the quaint lift doors. After the 1st...

I have just returned from the Andreotti Hotel after a 3 night stay with four of my friends. The hotel is full of character and is charming. The rooms (one triple, one twin) were clean and comfortable. No kettle was provided but we did get one on request. We also had a fault with the plug in our sink but this was remedied immediately. The major room problem is the plug sockets which did not suit our 'international travel adaptor' as the pins were too big. Only the bathroom shaver socket was suitable! The breakfast is ample. The staff are friendly and helpful. Downside is, whilst we spent most of our day out sightseeing, the bar closed very early so you couldn't enjoy a drink in the lounge before retiring to bed. Also, beware of the bedroom tax! 6 euros per person!

We stopped here for 3 nights and found the hotel spot on.Had a bit of a niggle with our room on the first night but the lovely Cristina sorted us out which was excellent.Breakfast was plentiful and the bar was cheaper than anywhere else(all served by the lovely Len)shame it closed at 21.30,but having said that, after all the walking we were pooped by 22.00 Lol. The lift was great,a real blast from the past and all the sites were convenient as the metro stops were only 5 minutes walk away.Plenty of restaurants in the area at reasonable prices so after a long day sightseeing you don't have to walk to far. We stayed four nights here. Our twin-bedded room was very clean and comfortable if a little old-fashioned, but had a fridge, hairdryer etc. We had been offered an upgrade before our visit for 10 euros per day - maybe we would have got a kettle and not just the instructions for using one! Breakfasts were outstanding, with lots of fresh fruit, cooked meats and cheeses, warm pastries and a hot pasta and a rice dish besides the eggs and sausage or bacon. There was a choice of coffees from two machines. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Within a short walk to the Terminii and with several restaurants close by, and offering free wi-fi, this hotel was a good choice for us.

Room Tip: There is a cage lift for higher floors.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Andreotti. The location is convenient for the train, bus and metro but in a quiet area. The hotel is unusually decorated but completely charming. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.Staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a good central place for exploring the sights of Rome and we definitely would recommend it - we hope to return.
