Hotel City is very well placed, in easy walking distance of many attractions. There was no street noise and the room was clean. The morning staff were pleasant and helpful.

However, the room was not well maintained with huge cracks in the plaster. The bed might have been made of stone, it was that hard and uncomfortable. After a delayed flight we were greeted by an evening receptionist who was extremely unhelpful and almost rude. Because of his attitude we missed a pre booked excursion and had to spend twenty minutes on the phone the following morning to rebook.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights as part of a 10 day trip to Italy. Hotel itself looked a bit tired and in need of some refurbishment. Room was comfortable enough with decent air conditioning. Bed was a bit short for me though. Bathroom was compact but clean. Desk staff seemed disinterested although polite. WiFi restricted to 2hrs free per day on one device only, seemed a bit restrictive. Breakfast was OK but rather limited in choice, friendly staff to bring coffee etc. Location was good with all tourist areas accessible by foot if you are prepared to walk for 30 mins+.

Very clean, centrally located, a beautiful building with a history, and a quaint Roman breakfast. Unfortunately, the definition of air-conditioned rooms is somewhat different than USA standards. It was a little too warm at night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Would recommend to family and friends.

Hotel City was centrally located which made it nice to walk everywhere. Nice staff, clean and simple. The only disappointment was they do not offer free wifi.
There are plenty of hotels that offer free wifi, so I would definitely stay somewhere else next time I visit Rome.

I stayed for the 2nd time in this hotel and I liked it still more than the 1st time. Excellent location, very quiet rooms without any noise from the street. Very clean rooms and excellent quality of the bathroom linen.

Stayed one night.
The hotel is extremely well located for exploring Rome city center.
It is a basic, small hotel but yet, clean and functional for what is needed.
There is a brand new laundromat twenty meters as you exit the hotel to the left.

Breakfast was included, it was basic but enough to get you going through lunch.

Our room was in the first floor and although there was no a/c we slept with the window open and it was quiet enough for a good night sleep.
