“Location, Location, Location & Service A+”

I highly recommend this hotel for service & location. It’s within walking distance of so many historical sites in Rome. The customer service from the front desk was impeccable. Our large group of 19 was well taken care of by Bruno, Alessandro and Max. We stayed in room 510 which was clean, very spacious and cool in the summer heat. There is free wifi in the hotel room. We didn’t hear any noise from the street. We had the hotel’s buffet breakfast which was basically comprised of cheeses, cold meats, bacon, scrambled & hard boiled eggs, cereal, breads & spreads, several kinds of brioche, cakes, fresh fruit, juices and coffee (from a machine). Whenever we ordered a cab from the front desk, it arrived immediately. There is a bar in the hotel lobby for coffees and cool drinks. There are little stores across the street where you can purchase water bottles and gifts. On our last night, we walked literally 2 mins to the light show at the Augustus Forum. Excellent hotel!

Room Tip: There are Dove soap dispensers in the bathroom, but bring your own shampoo. Our large room 510 was i...

This hotel was in such a great central location within walking distance of so many of the "top 10" sites to see. The room was very nice, the bathroom seemed newly renovated, so very beautiful stand up shower and counters, etc. Excellent housekeeping everyday. Ate breakfast there on the last day and great selection for reasonable price. The café and bar had excellent cappuccino, too! I would absolutely rebook at this hotel in a minute!

Room Tip: We had a corner room which wasn't bigger but had a broader view - loved it.

Location is about a 6 minute walk to the Colosseum, and is right next to the capital building. There is even a bus stop right outside of the hotel, and it's about a 10 minute walk to the subway stops. Taxis are also about a 1 minute walk away which I would recommend if you want to go to the vatican (it was a 7 euro trip). As for the rooms, they were spacious for europe, and the ac worked perfectly for us and kept the room super super cold! Which you need a hotel in Rome that will keep cold. The older gentleman at the front desk was absolutely hilarious and everyone was super friendly! There is free wifi, and breakfast isn't included but there is a restaurant attached to the hotel, and there is also an elevator which is a huge plus. Was quiet at night. Overall I highly recommend!

Great location in the center of Rome, but the rooms are too warm for comfort. There is no way to turn the air conditioning to a cooler setting as rooms are controlled by a central location. Too warm to be comfortable.

Location: 4/5, Service: 4/5, Room: 3/5. Location of this hotel is great. Quick bus ride or walk to almost every sight. Room did smell like smoke, but they quickly moved us rooms which was great. They did inform us that hotel is smoke free, so we were very pleased they quickly moved us with out even coming to the 'smoke' room. The room was date but it Europe. Will be back soon for the price and location.

This is a nice hotel that is located close walking distance to all major sites. Trevi fountain, pantheon, colliseum, Roman forum. Really ideal location. Room itself is clean, nice, smaller but hey in rome you're not there to stay in your room!

I enjoyed staying at the Hotel Cosmopolita while in Rome. It is very convenient to every major spot. It was clean, staff was nice, restaurant was a bit warm for my comfort but the room was air conditioned just fine. The hotel was chosen by our travel agent and I was very happy with it. The rooms are small but fine for overnight. We asked for a room near the lift so we would not have to lug luggage many floors and they were so kind to give us one right by the lift. It was very quiet and we never heard the lift at all. It was so helpful to be on the 3rd floor and not have to carry luggage to higher floors. I would stay there again. The location was worth it and the price was fine. Credit cards are accepted but city tax must be paid in cash euros.

Room Tip: 3rd floor, near lift. I have heard that the higher floors require carrying luggage as the lift only...

Dear Guest,
Thank you so much for your feedback about your stay at the Hotel Cosmopolita!
I am glad that you felt you received a good value for money spent: a very central and convenient location, cleanliness and helpful staff!
I am also glad to know that the staff helped you to find the best accommodation near the lift assuring you anyway a quiet room.
Being in the heart of the city centre the size of our rooms is not always very large, the building was constructed in the XVIII century and recently reconverted into hotel. Anyway rooms are very comfortable and with all facilities.
I am afraid for any issue with the temperature of the restaurant, usually it is set at 20°, in order to encounter the most possible guest’s needs, even if, as for the mattress, unfortunately there is not a perfect temperature for all the guests!
Thank you again for taking your time to share your experience, we hope to welcome you again soon!
Kind regards
