“Friendly hotel”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 via mobile

This hotel is prefect for a city break. The staff are friendly, and it's clean and comfortable. I got emails before arrival and when we arrived late the receptionist knew we were arriving and spent time talking us through the sites and where to get food at that time. There is no hot breakfast but the continental breakfast is great! The hotel is close to a metro station 'bologna' but it is also 30 minutes walk from the main station 'Termini' and about an hours walk from most of the sites. There is a supermarket opposite for the things you forget!

The hotel is on the outskirts of Roma in the bologna district. You have to take the metro for everything because you don't want to chance getting your rental car messed up and parking is horrible. The hotel front counter staff is unfriendly and every person has a different answer about what amenities come with your room. DO NOT DO LAUNDRY HERE!! I was told it was a complimentary service due to seeing a laundry bag in the room. The room has a price list for the mini bar but nothing for laundry. Upon checkout they charged 250 euro for laundry! Then they would not call a manager. This place was the worst accommodation we stayed in all throughout Europe and I highly recommend that you spend a little more $ for a real 4 star hotel....

From the Fiumicino Airport to this hotel we arrived in 1 hour with a shuttle bus and subway. From the Bologna subway station we walked 10-15 minutes. The staff of the hotel was nice and they offered to help us with information about tourist attractions. The room no 109 was comfortable, not very large but neither the smallest we stayed in, and the furniture was rather obsolete. After a heavy rain, only Italian TV channels could be watched. The bath was large, but the held shower was broken. Breakfast served on the roof terrace was average, with Italian cold meats and sweets.
Maybe we will return one day there.

Just had 4 nights stay at the hotel. Was particularly impressed by the friendly helpful team on reception and in particular Alessia who looked after us with lots of information on where to eat and how to get around. The room was spacious, well maintained and clean although the air conditioning dubious? Great to have a room safe to store valuables and also a good FREE WI-FI. Very reasonably priced mini-bar which we used. Very convenient for rail, tram, bus, metro. Breakfast was a bit disappointing but ok. In a reasonably quiet location and overall happy with the choice.

Hotel was clean and very quiet for the most part. I was on the bottom (1st) floor and it was kind of damp the whole time (i was there for 10 days), not a big deal, but i prefer to be on higher floors, i will definitely request for next time. Very close to Bolongna Metro Station and takes about 2 min to get to city center Rome. Staff were fantastic, very friendly. Never had the breakfast so cannot comment. I requested a king bed and got 2 singles pushed together, (not sure if that's a European/Mediterranean thing or not) but it was a bit uncomfortable as i could feel the "seam" in the middle. Overall a good stay and i would definitely stay there again as i plan on returning in 6 months.

I've been in this hotel 2 times in a month for business trip and definetly it's been a good choice.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, from indications, to alarm in the morning till get you a cab.
Room are big and quite clean; very silently and quite.
Breakfast is served on a rooftop and that's a very quite place for the morning.
It's located close to Piazza Bologna, where you can find everything you need and the tube is located 200 mt from the hotel, so you can easy reach the cityt center with a couple of tube stations.
I'd truly reccomend this place if you searcha quite and nice hotel to spend a beautiful holiday!

The relations cost/quality is excellent!!
It's a very nice hotel, nearby Bologna metro station. 3 stops away from the center of Rome.
The staff was nice and the hotel very quiet, just like we are looking for.

The breakfast was nice, but not excellent and the breakfast room on the 6th floor give you an nice view over the area.

Definitively an hotel to return!
