The location was excellent, situated in a lovely street, less than 10 minutes walk to the Colosseum and surrounded by nice restaurants. The apartment was basic, with very few utensils in the kitchen and no microwave. Shower very small. Cleaning was only done every 3 days, so with carpet on the floor, it was very dirty. The couch was a sofa bed, but with the mattress missing, the cushions sat on the bed springs, so we could not sit on it. Very noisy at night, because of people gathering in the square outside.

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely place, we weren't sure what to expect but we had a ball!

The room was an ok size but had a great big bathroom. Kitchenette was there but we didn't use it apart from the fridge. The power shower was great best I've had in a hotel, sadly though our jacuzzi bath did not work.

The best part about this lodging was the gorgeous roof top terrace and the location, it's 5 min walk from colosseum and it's within walking distance of all major attractions including the Vatican (30 min walk). Once you suss out the location it's very easy to navigate yourself and we walked everywhere even back to the train station to go home.

In the evenings the area surrounding the hotel (Monti) came alive with music and drinks stalls fayres and entertainment. It was so authentic we loved every minute.

We didn't eat near the hotel as we weren't there for long each day but the shops nearby stock very cheap bottles of wine and snacks and even a corkscrew for the unprepared :)

We would highly recommend this hotel/b and b, very reasonably priced, great location and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Only negative would be the lack of toiletries after the third night but we were checking out and weren't too bothered.

good location, right near a metro station and not too far a walk from the train station. Also super close to the colosseum and the formun. wonderful little apartment with a little kitchen and everything! We did cook one night we were there, not bad! wasn't sure what to expect with this place as we've never booked a place that wasn't a hotel but we loved it. Would totally stay here again and actually find a market the moment we get there and probably cook a little more. This place has a wonderful roof top deck with chairs and that was nice to sit out there. there is a wonderful little restaurant right next door that delivers but that experience was a little odd, you might as well just make a reservation and go there or just order and take away...but that food was good either way.

Staff were welcoming and helpful but only available from 8am-6pm, making security limited.

The location was brilliant

However the room was basic and tired with new facilities needed. The shower leaked and the toilet flush was broken. The bed wAs a sofa bed, with no head board making sleeping slightly uncomfortable.

The bathroom was large and clean but towels and bed linen were only changed once every three days.

Breakfast was not available

We got what we paid for and location was our priority

I would not stay again or recommend

Well the hotel is nice and central well within walking distance of local attractions, however the rooms do let it down a bit as they wet really quite dirty, boot marks and stains all up the walls, and not cleaned very well. Tired old units and very small rooms too but it does benefit from it's on suite shower room. Also thin walled so you can hear everything in the corridor outside the room, especially if your on the 3rd floor and hear the lift door slam closed all night when people walk up to the terrace. If you do require a cleaning service they charge an extra €30 a time which is a bit excessive however it gets done twice a week anyway, very helpful receptionist but the rooms do let this place down a bit. Benefits a deep wardrobe and a personal safe on the room.

We stayed in June 2013 and this place had an EXCELLENT location. It was within minutes of the Colosseum and other major attractions. It is within a few feet from the Cavour train station, which will practically leave you at this hotel's front door. The hotel is right next to an ice cream shop and at night people gather and socialize so it's great. The little neighborhood this hotel is in is lively and within distance to anywhere really. The rooms are very simple, although the restrooms are big and spacious. The only downside to this place is that since it is an apartment-style hotel, cleaning service (replacement of towels, toiletries, bedding, cleaning) is only done after 3 days (which we stayed, so they cleaned after we left). I would have wanted and expected daily service, so be prepared to clean up your room yourself.
