We stayed with our adult children and their significant others at this apartment in San Lorenzo. The owner met with us on arrival and helped us with not just an orientation to the apartment, but an orientation to the neighborhood and the easy transportation to Rome's center (15 minutes by tram to the Colosseum). The apartment is modern and bright and airy and clean. The bedrooms are quite large. His sister is an interior designer and had decorated the apartment and it showed. There is only a dining room/kitchen as a common room but this was fine with us as we weren't there during the day ; we were out and about in central Rome. There was a restaurant directly across the street that we ate in 2 nights. There were several grocery stores within a block or two.Downstairs was a cafe that had great cappuccino. It was fun to stay in a neighborhood and feel part of Italian daily life even if briefly. Last of all, upon leaving we ran into a glitch and the owner of the apartment very graciously helped us out. This apartment made our stay feel special and unique. We would happily stay there again.
