“upscale boutique hotel - worth a stay”
Reviewed 10 April 2012

Nice boutique hotel with character, even if you are not a big fan of rococo style, you will enjoy the luxurious but not too pretentious environment. Service is very good, in particular at front desk. Rooms are comfy, well equipped and quiet for those with a view on the courtyard. Wifi works well and quick. Ask for pre paid cheaper voucher for breakfast or go to cafe de paris on via veneto at 5 minute walk. Metro station is close, and taxi on call reach the hotel usually in 5 minutes. Hotel has spa and swimming pool. Staff attentive and kind.

Room Tip: courtyard view

I love the hotel! The room was very eye appealing, not to mention the assortment of different lotions, shampoos, and conditioners they had by the glass sink. Wifi was free but the spa wasn't. But the best part about everything was the staff! They were very friendly and extremely helpful. All their recommendations from tailors to tours to restaurants was on point! Only bad thing is anything extra is costly ie. the laundry service.

The staff is very friendly and professional always trying to accommodate.
Our room with nice and quiet and the restaurant is very good, we had dinner twice.
The WIFI should be free in that hotel category.
We live in Miami but we will come back as soon as possible..

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room in the courtyard

This hotel in the Boscolo chain was designed by Adam Tihany and is themed on Dante's writings...the themed foyer, lobby, bar, restaurant, pool, spa and rooms...down to the soaps and supplies give testament to an all inclusive them for your stay.

The best advice I have is go to the website, see the pics, and then plan your journey. Nestled in a quiet part of the city where famous directors hung their hats, one gets the best of metro access, proximity to the rail station and some awesome restaurants.

The indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and spa are awesome! The seasonal rooftop deck has great views of Rome.

Staff were very accommodating, rooms are big and detailed, bathrooms a special treat. The library, bar and restaurant very sensual space. The free breakfast buffet is excellent! Highly recommend it for that special trip. For additional support, see Contexttravel.com they organized my Mercedes pick-up, bus and metro passes, even a euro phone loaded with the names and phone numbers of my 6 person max tours!!

Room Tip: I had a room facing an interior courtyard, extra quiet!

Nice rooms, impeccable service and cool design
There´s every service you can imagine avaliable, at a cost of course. No free WiFi and breakfast is not included. However the spa is free of charge and you can wrap yourself in the thick white robes and relax for hours if you desire.

10mn walking from the Spanish Steps, the hotel is very well located and offers decent features. The hotel lacks natural light however the service is excellent and offers overall high standards.
The rooms are big and comfortable. Great breakfast, however room service is overpriced: I was charged 26€ for a simple tomato & mozzarella salad...

The entrance and the lobby are very nice but the floors are not the same standard and the rooms are in need of refurbishing (even though you can see they were once very modern). The service is good by South-European standards (my only complaint is that if you need an iron you need to come down to reception to sign a indemnity letter which is at least a first time for me). If you are a business travel and had your (more than) fair share of hotel breakfasts I would recommend taking a left when coming out of the hotel and have a great morning espresso and sandwich at the small coffee shop on the opposite side of the streetl. The location is good and walking distance to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and shopping. I would probably expect a bit more for what they are normally charging but when I stayed there we had a good corporate discount.

P.S This hotel offers promotions to guest that give them positive feedback on Tripadvisor but this review is not in any way biased by this. D.S.
