Excellent Botique style Hotel.
Stayed with friends for 4 nigths early March 2013. On arrival found staff very friendly and helpful in every respect. Could not fault room and facilities. Superb location to explore City. 2 minute walk to Piazza Barberini and Metro - (4 stops on "A line" to Vatican City) and within easy wakling distance to Trevi Fountain & Spanish Steps. Bars and restaurants close by. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in February. We had a wonderful stay. The room and bathroom are large and comfortable. The breakfast is great, a large selection of fresh fruit, cheese, jams and fresh breads, including a variety of cooked breakfast dishes. The spa is beautiful and very clean. The service all around was excellent. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helped with anything that we asked for or needed, dinner reservations, taxis, general information and more. The hotel is situated right at the center but on a quiet street, we just walked everywhere. We highly recommend the Boscolo Aleph hotel.

Amazing room, great location for exploring the city by foot and a fantastic concierge! The rooftop bar and pool was beautiful. The cleaners were extremely thorough and visited at least twice a day! Amazing experience and will definitely travel to another of the Boscolo hotels in the future!

My husband and I spent the 1st 2 days of our honeymoon at the Aleph before leaving from Civitevecchia on our cruise. The hotel is an easy 10 - 15 minute walk from Termini station. Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager, our bags collected by the porter, and informed by the friendly front desk staff that we'd been upgraded. I was pleasantly surprised about the upgrade because we booked through Expedia. We arrived before lunch and our room wasn't ready. We were given wonderful directions to an array of nearby restaurants, and our room was ready with the luggage already in it when we returned. Check-in was quick and easy.
The bed was very low and the mattress a little hard - but we were fine. On New Years Eve, they even unlocked the rooftop restaurant (which was closed for the season) a few minutes before midnight so the guests could see the fireworks across the city.
Check out was easy and the porters were very helpful!

We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2012. It is conveniently located on a quiet street not far from Piazza Barbarini. The room was large for a big city. The staff was extremely helpful. We were arriving early in the morning so I e-mailed a request for an early check in, which they were nice enough to do for us, even though the place was sold out. The breakfast, which was included in our room rate, was excellent. We also ate dinner at the hotel twice and the carbonara was the best we had during our stay in Rome. They really could not do enough for us. If we go back to Rome we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a room away from the elevator. The street is very quiet so there should be no noise from tra...

Despite the December weather, our first room was populated with large mosquitoes. After killing around 10 we managed to get the hotel to change our room. But a few hours later mosquitoes started to appear in the new room. Problem only solved by covering the air vents with towels.

Reception staff rude when I checked out, seemed not to believe I hadn't used the mini-bar.

Not a great experience, by contrast we had a great 1 week stay in Artemide Hotel (also in Rome) just a few weeks before.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend break at the end of November. The hotel staff and facilities were faultless. However, there were odd small things missing (ironing board, coffee maker) which in my opinion did not make this a 5 Star Hotel but I tend to take a star off for hotels in Continental Europe and this comfortably is a 4 Star Hotel. Due to the time of the year the roof terrace bar was not open. Breakfast in the hotel was surprisingly good value for 15Euros (full buffet breakfast with a cooked menu as well with about 10 different items).

The hotel is in a great location, it is a minute or so walk from Barberini Station from which you can get to the Vatican and Old Rome. We found that we got the metro to an attraction (Coliseum, Vatican, Old Rome) and then walked from there around the city and back to the hotel late in the evening.

The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are about 5 minutes from the hotel with the other big attractions being around 30minutes (but we generally too a lot longer to walk the various streets and see other attractions).
