Stayed here for 5 nights with my boyfriend in August 2013. Was perfect for a holiday in Rome. Definitely a bargain!
The location is amazing, down the road is Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps.
We walked the whole of Rome in 5 days and saw everything.
Breakfast isn't amazing but it's good enough. Coffee is lovely. And there's fresh pastries and bread to eat.
Our room was lovely. Tall windows looking out onto the street. Had a big bathroom with a bath and shower.
There was also a secure safe in the room a tv (which was not needed) and a mini fridge which was stocked with drinks which were surprisingly cheap.
Only complaint I have is that we booked airport transfer but when we arrived at the airport there was nobody to pick us up. We ended up getting the train into Rome which was really easy and walked from the termini to the hotel with the help of a map. We didn't bring this up with the hotel because we just wanted to get on with our holiday. Staff were friendly enough also.
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had an amazing time.

Very good quality / price ratio for the area in which it is located. Everyone is friendly and the breakfast is normal. The rooms are comfortable enough and so is the equipment "technological".
I would recommend it to a friend.

We stayed at Hotel Cinquantatre for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful - always giving great advice on what was the best way to do what we wanted to do. Location of the hotel is excellent - close to public transport and all the main attractions. Room (ours had a balcony) was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and the coffee really good! Everything that we wanted out of our stay in Rome was provided at this hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Hotel Cinquantatre for two nights. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The location was wonderful, close to public transport and close to all the sights we wanted to see. We slept well, as all was quiet in the night and bed very comfy. Everything was clean, serviceable and easy! Will stay here again when in Rome, thank you so much!

Perfect central location, in walking distance to many main attractions, and close to public transport. Staff were very helpful, they take the time to explain what to do in Rome & the best way to get there. Breakfast was perfect, and the coffee was fantastic!
The rooms (ours had a balcony) are clean and provide all the amenities you would require (bed, safe, bathroom).
This is a hidden little gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Rome.

We spent the last few days of our honeymoon in Room and stayed at Hotel Cinquantatre at the recommendation of our family who live in Southern Italy. The room and the terrace was perfect! The breakfast was great and the location can't be beat as it is so close to all of the major sites in Rome. The Hotel Owner and staff were all very accommodating! We can't thank them enough for the information they shared and recommendations they made.

Room Tip: The room with the large terrace is a wonderful place to relax after a day of touring!
