Great little hotel in a perfect location! 10 minute walk to Vatican City. 15 minutes to Spanish steps . Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori, Pantheon, Castel Sant' Angelo, Trevi Fountain all closer yet!
Personable service and attention to detail. Very helpful!

We only spent 1 night but it was perfect. Vera was so helpful and a sweetheart. The room was very comfortable and we received complimentary champagne to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a great location and was in walking distance to the locations we wanted to see in our very short one night in Rome. We would stay here again.

My wife and I have visited Rome four times. This trip we enjoyed 7 nights. Arriving at the hotel, expect to be greeted by Salvo and Vera, who will treat you like long lost family, very comforting after a long trip. After a minute or so of conversation you will realize that this hotel wants to make sure you feel special and most welcomed. The decor is wonderful and our room was tastefully appointed, with a canopy bed, charming table and 2 chairs, flat panel television and comfortable sofa. Double french windows help to keep the ambient noise to an absolute minimum. We seldom heard other quests in the hotel. Air conditioning is quiet and efficient. Our room, number 7, overlooked a small street with a family Trattoria located below our window, just across the way. The bath area in our room was immaculate with fresh towels and accessories daily. Every morning you will be able to enjoy a complimentary breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere with an array of various yummy items. Vera will make sure you are pleased with juice, coffee, fruits, breads, meats, cheese or cereal. The hotel will provide room service if you request, with a smile. Breakfast is always more than enough to start you day's journey. This hotel is centrally located, across the street from the historic river Tiber. It is within walking distance of most major must see locations in Rome, with countless restaurants in the area. Piazza Navona, St. Peter's Square, Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon and the Spanish Steps are no more than a 15 minute walk away. Jump on the Metro or city bus for transportation to other sites. Cabs are plentiful in the nearby Piazza Navona for the less adventurous, but to experience Rome, walking, the Metro and bus are the way to go. Public transportation is cheap and efficient. When in Rome, do as the Roman's do. Shopping is too numerous to mention. Looking for local haunts for shopping or dining? Just ask Salvo or Vera, they are more than willing to guide you in the right direction. We would recommend this hotel to all who desire a relaxing, charming and centrally located hotel in the heart of Rome. Thank you Residence Ave Roma for helping us enjoy an unforgettable Roman Holiday.

Residenza Ave Roma Hotel is small and quaint hotel in the heart of Rome. It is definitely great on the Bang for Buck meter. The Manager Salvo is an absolute pleasure with a wonderful sense of humor, he can definitely guide you to whatever it is that you are seeking, and he speaks perfect English which is a pleasure as well...his knowledge of nightlife and fashion is thrilling...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights...The hotel itself is located on a sub floor of the building, not totally underground, but the windows in your room should be kept closed or passerby's can gaze into your life. Rooms are cute with nice tapestries and interesting decor...Rooms are cleaned very well, and the bathroom was spotless..Due to this underground-ish location, an element of musty smell can be experienced if you leave wet clothes or towels around. The key to this hotel is the location...if you are looking to do Rome, and not spend a lot of time or money in the Hotel, then this place is wonderful. It is not expensive, and is literally 10-15 minutes walking distance from everything...They have air conditioning that works and WIFI internet access. Every dollar you save on the hotel, is more you can be spending on food and fun times...so I would definitely stay here again.

There is great food all over Rome and they bathe everything in Truffles..we found a couple hidden gem restaurants that gave us meals we shall never forget. One is called "Old Bear Srl" DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!!

Thanks Salvo for a wonderful couple of days!

after reading the positive reviews about the hotel i was pretty confident about our choice of hotel, and in reality they came true!!
small and cozy hotel, Salvo is very friendly and immedietly welcomed us and told us every thing you need for our stay at the hotel and in rome in general.
the rooms are pretty big and clean. the bathroom is a bit to small.
free internet!! Breakfast wasnt the hightlight of the stay, but it was just enough.
most important- the location is fantastic!!! close ti everything- piazza navona, right on the river... only a walk away. perfect!
