“Relaxing and confortable time in Rome”
Reviewed 24 September 2012

We spent six days in July in Rome and we chose the charming Hotel Mozart (Mozart Hotel & Suites Rome) and we stayed at the Vivali Rooms. It was one of the best choices on this trip to Italy. Rome is an exciting city that never stops. Nothing like a confortable hotel after a full day of sightseeing. Well located near the Piazza de Espagna, near the subway, Via Condoti, and other places. Spacious, well cleaned we settled, silent at night. Me, my wife and son had a wonderfull time in this hotel. King size bed and another single bed for my son very confortable and cozy. Spectacular bathrooms with shower and Jacuzzi bathtube. Excellent breakfast. Definitely, if we return to Rome we would stay at Mozart.

Room Tip: The Vivaldi Room are in another building. It worth the price.

Very nice hotel located in the heart of Rome. We had a very nice room on the first floor.
Breakfast buffet was very nice with a wide choice.
The bad point is that the place was very noisy. Our room was located at the level of the lobby/bar where guests could sit down, access the internet, watch TV and talk. Scream is more correct than talk at any hour of the night during hours! We asked to the front desk to do something but they did no do anything to at least ask people at 1 AM to stop screaming...
Imagine the situation during the soccer worldcup...

Room Tip: Avoid the first floor!

The Hotel Mozart is a wonderful hotel. The location is unbeatable, very safe, right off the main shopping street in Rome, seconds from the Spanish Steps. You can walk to most sites, whilst The Vatican and Villa Borghese for example, are a very short taxi ride away. The rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a lovely rooftop bar, great for warm summer nights.
Breakfast is fantastic! The assortment of food is great and the quality is impressive. I would happily stay at the hotel again and would recommend it to all.

Helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Clean pleasent rooms. Four minute walk from Spanish Steps. Lovely rooftop bar with views of the church at at Spanish Steps. Right in the heart of most of what you'd want to see in Rome ... but on a street that is very very quiet.
A dining tip: turn left as you leave the hotel, down Via del Geci to the corner ... Canova Tadolini Ristorante ... a lovely trestaurant in an old storehouse for sculptures.

Excellent location, free internet, good price.
Not so clean. We have ben in family apartments in 100 meters from the main hotel building. It appears that the hotel rooms are much better in terms of comfort.

We Had a great 3 nights at this hotel, having booked it via the Internet we got a good price around the 650 € range which included breakfast. The staff were very helpful, the place was clean and decor excellent. It was no surprise that the room was small but we were aware of this as it was well advertised. Our stay was also enhanced by the location which allowed us to walk to almost all the main tourist sites. We also booked the bus tour through the hotel for 2 nights, which I would recommend the 25€ per person for 2 days proved well worth the cost. I would also recommend
Eating at the 11 Gabriella in the next street as the food was excellent, although it may pay you to book, they did however manage to fit us in on the Thursday night.

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Mozart. What a fabulous location. Hotel was smashing, spotlessly clean, lovely breakfasts and the roof terrace overlooking Rome was ideal after a days sightseeing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were recommended, first night to a hotel called El Grotto or something similar, seven roads down from Mozart, easy to find and what a find! It was fantastic, atmosphere, food everything, very busy so that speaks for itself! Would definitely recommend Mozart.
