We had just completedtravelling around Italy and was looking forward to our 5 nights in Rome. What a big let down Hotel Mozart was. Reception was rude like we were interrupting them, and then we were told we had to walk maybe 15 mins to where our room was carrying our own bags across several streets and through council road works. The footpath was dug up outside the building we were located in and we had to walk a plank. When we were finally in our room it was filthy, dust everywhere bathroom grimy not cleaned in days, we were supposed to have 3 beds but only had 2 singles. We went back to rection and said we were not happy and wanted another room. After much arguing we were put in an even smaller room still very dirty. I spent all that night trying to find another hotel in Rome to move to, we did not even want to try and have breakfast there if there kitchen was as dirty as the rooms. Our tour operator the next day found us another hotel Hotel Splendid, how amazing, but when we went to mobe our bags the hotel manager was so rude and said we still had to pay for the 5 nights he even forceable tried to tKe our bGs out of the car. Wie were so glad to see the back of that place and suggest future guests ensure they read all reviews as I can see other' s have had this same experience

Room Tip: all rooms and were put in 3 after complainly where not up to standard

We stayed here for 3 days and had a lovely time. We were given one of the Vivaldi rooms and couldnt have been more happier with this. The actual hotel is just a short walk around the corner and were told we could use the hotels amenities at any time. Our room was perfect. Roomy, clean and very modern. Location ideal, just a short walk from the Spanish steps. Would definately use again and recommend.

Dear Lisa E,
we are so glad that you had the chance to stay in our wonderful rooms at the Vivaldi Luxury Rooms and were so happy with it! Vivaldi Luxury Rooms is the Hotel Mozart annex, a second hotel with his own breakfast room without reception (being only a few meters from the main hotel) and a plus - the turkish bath available for free for the Vivaldi guests (see the pictures on our official web site). We are happy you enjoyed the comfort of the room with its modern style and in the same time the amenities of the Mozart, as the lounge with fire place and cocktail bar. We are looking forward to seeing you here again and invite you to call us for your next stay to give us the chance to arrange for you another wonderful stay. See you soon!

Our first trip to Rome, hotel in good central location. We were in the annexe rooms tucked behind a huge old door, just off the main street. Very quaint little outside lift to take us up to the second floor where our room was, quirky!!. Room was large and very clean, lovely toiletries in the bathroom and huge comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. When we return to Rome which we intend doing we will definitely be back here. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Dear Johampson…
thank you so much for your very nice review on our hotel, in particular on our “Vivaldi Luxury Rooms”, for which there is a special page of reviews here on Tripadvisor (for those who want to know better). It’s a pleasure to read that you appreciated the carefulness with wich we have designed and furnished our rooms and our generous breakfast with homemade cakes for which we have so many good reviews both at Mozart and Vivaldi. Our best reward is to hear that you will come back to us on your next trip in Rome. Please contact us when you will and we will arrange for you our best welcome. Arrivederci a presto!

The hotel Mozart is located in a very convenient area close to all the essential attractions and close to the Spanish Steps area and the Metro. The hotel is beautifully maintained with efficient and co-operative staff.

The hotel itself is tucked away in a small side street and even our driver couldn't find it but with some assistance from the opposition it was found. Our room, known as Vivaldi, was located around the corner from the hotel on the main shopping street and our first floor room window opened onto the busy scene below. I feared this would be noisy but the sound proofing is excellent and any outside activity can't be heard. The bell boy was extremely helpful and carried our bags on our arrival and departure. The reception assisted by ringing to verify our pickup which was much easier done in Italian. The Vivaldi room consists of a main bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, small kitchen, a smaller bedroom and another bathroom. All in good condition and very comfortable. I support the other reviewers in saying the location is ideal as it's within walking distance of the major tourist sites - we found nothing more than about 30 minutes away and we are not very good walkers. Overall I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: The Vivaldi room has space and overlooks the activities on the main street.

Spent 3 nights here in October 2013. About 5 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain.
A lovely hotel, we had a large, clean room and had very good service from everybody. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice.
I highly recommend it.

The location is great, in a corner of a busy shopping street (Via del Corso) and a quiet side street, very close to idyllic Piazza del Popolo. The most expensive rooms have private terraces with lemon trees. You can walk to the hotel with your suitcase from the Spagna metro station (with convenient rail and metro connection from the airport). My room was facing the courtyard, but was next door to the lift and the straircase. The lift machinery was making such an annoying noise all the time (it was located just next to the bed) and I woke up early as the noise from the breakfast room started at 5.30 am. The décor of the room was stylish and traditional. I had a superior double room, but it was on the small side. The bathroom had all the amenities you could wish for and was modern. Overall, the room was in a good condition. The breakfast was good, with nice little touches such as fresh pie and local delicacies on offer. Vatican was within a walking distance as were all the other major sites of Rome. I loved the location of the hotel and would definitely stay in this neighbourhood if not in this hotel. There were many lovely boutiques, cafes and a good vegetarian restaurant close to the hotel. The only downside was the location of the room, next to the lift, so beware! Ask for a quiet room. I am sure that all the other rooms facing the courtyard are quiet, but not the ones next to the lift. Unfortunately, I could not change rooms as the hotel was full during my visit.

Room Tip: choose a room away from the staircase and definitely not next to the lift
