We had a great stay at the Mercure Roma. It was close to the metro station And close to great pizza, the best gelato in Rome and a cash machine. There was also cute shops for reasonably priced shopping and very good prices in street vendors. Breakfast was great at the hotel. Staff was great.

This really is a 3* hotel. Cosy throughout, with nicest rooms that I saw in any of Mercure hotels. However walls are very thin and on the top of that, loud music is being played in hotel's inner courtyard during the whole night! I had to phone reception at 3 am to ask them to turn it off! Apart from that incident, staff is quite efficient if smileless (not uncommon in Italy). The biggest drawback is definitely hotel's location in the middle of nowhere - it takes 20-30 mins by metro or taxi (around 15 euros) to city centre. The only real reason to stay in this hotel would be attractive price - otherwise choose something much more central.

I dont do reviews ever. But this hotel deserves one. The absolutely worst otel i have ever been. First there is no room service, and you cant buy anything at the front desk, like water, coke, food. The hotel doenst offer lunch, even do it says they do on te accor website. On the one night I have tried to eat dinner, I couldnt because the hotel was having a private party at the restaurant, for mercure, but we that were staying at hotel, and are platinum a club, couldnt attend. And I also culdnt sleep because the par was oung to be until midnight and they couldnt ask for the music to be lower because it was a party for mercure. they just forot that the guests make a hotel, not the other way around. The day that I decided to o down for breakfast I coldnt get a coke because the bar wasnt open until 11 am. Keep in mind, they dont have room service. All the staff its bad, and they dont speak english at all. The only good thing about it, its Martina, the one staff that cares. The hotel says they have 3 stars, truth? They are far far far away from that. Really bad. I will come back to rome, but I will never step foot at tis hotel again.

Room Tip: To choose a good room, choose one in another hotel.

This hotel is a short walk from the Bologna metro station [ Linea B ] and is only a couple of stops from the central Rome and the main interchange [ Termini ] where you can change for the other underground Metro line [ Linea A ] overground trains and coaches to Rome airport as well train services other intercity destinations.

The hotel is in a reasonably good quiet residential area [ in a side street ] and is modern and contemporary in style. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms aren't huge but are more than adequate with TV, free wi fi , plenty of storage , aircon , comfortable beds and bathroom with bath/shower , bidet and hairdryer etc. Cleanliness is of a high standard. The hotel does not include breakfast in its room rate but a continental breakfast is available for a charge of 6 euros per person. A cooked breakfast is also available however it is a rather pricey 15 Euros pp. However there are several nearby cafes [one almost opposite] which offer excellent Italian and snacks food [ e.g. panninis , fresh coffee, juice etc ] at reasonable prices.

The hotel does not have extensive public rooms but if you are looking for a short break in a reasonably priced modern hotel close to the metro in Rome this hotel is a very good bet.

The biggest disadvantage of this hotel is that its outside the old walls of ROME which means the Taxi charges are a lot more. There is a metro station closeby (10 min walk) but when with luggage & family you stand to be at a bid disadvantage. But not taking anything away from the Hotel. The hotel itself is a great one. Excellent Rooms, Good Service & great value for money especially if you're an accor member.

Our room was really good. The best Mercure Room compared to the other ones we have stayed in. The Room has a comfortable bed, adequately large bathroom & the amenities are good too. They have free Wi-fi which is good. They have a Bar & a Restaurant on the Ground Floor.

Stay here if you have your own transport or don't mind using public transport. A good hotel nonetheless.

Well furnished hotel. I stayed there for 3 days and it was a good stay. The hotel does not have loads of services, but the rooms are comfortable and they have a good size for 2 people.
It is a bit far from the city centre but near the subway station, which makes it easy to move around.
Would stay there again. Paid with accor club points but the price wasnt bad comparing to other hotels in the same area.
