Fantastic Hotel. The price is unbeatable, offering new and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast is plentiful and range. And besides, the attention of the hotel staff is very nice. Being located in the neighborhood of Termini could be thought that location is an inconvenient, but the reality is that there are 2 metro stations nearby and even walking you can arrive very fast to the Coliseum area. We have walked through the neighborhood at night and did't had any problems. If we return to Rome soon, will be to this hotel.

Taormina's staff was efficient and helpful with maps, taxis, check-in and check-out. Termini is conveniently close, and ancient landmarks are a long but doable 15-20 minute walk away. There are lots of restaurants and cafes close by, like Il Pasticciaccio and Vecchia Roma. Breakfast was definitely austere (three rolls come on your plate and you have the option of croissants or crackers, as well as nutella and jellies). It wasn't bad, but some fruit or cereals could be a nice option. Our wifi (1e/night) worked great in our room (306) in the building next door, as well as our little courtyard/piazza. All in all, great for the price, good location, no complaints!

Great hotel for the price. We would stay here again.

Pros:

Price.
Location, close to termini station and a 15 minute walk to ancient Rome.
Very polite staff and helpful.
Close to a very good gelato shop. And great restaurants.

Cons.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

The good: Desk clerk was absolutely outstanding. I felt like I had a friend in Rome.
The not-so-good: Bedding was nasty. Long hairs on the blanket. Ugh. I had to sleep under towels. Also, breakfast was very bare bones. Bring your own fruit.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It was over a year ago and the staff remembered us! Large ensuit room, clean and comfortable beds. Flat screen TV. Breakfast was buns, orange, coffee etc. Excellent value. No lift so not really suitable to those with stair climbing disability. Easy walking distance for most of Rome's ancient attractions. Very near to underground and near bus and train station (10 min walk). 1 block from ice cream factory, 3€ for 3 scoops, whipped cream and cornet cube, sit in! 50+ flavours. Nice restaurants near.
