“fantastic value for money”
Reviewed 17 September 2013

I was sorry to read not too complimentary reviews of this hotel which when opened was a great
address with all comforts and facilities. We made friends with the reception manager who helped us a lot and gave great advice. One can see that cost of staff in Italy is very high and at breakfast
when the hotel is full the service is a bit slow. Otherwise we very happy and we will be back!

Room Tip: top floor!

I have just recently stayed here on my first trip to Italy. I had many concerns about this hotel after reading the reviews however after staying here I found this place to be just fine, clean, room size a little small but okay and the a/c worked, yeah. The breakfast was good many choices and the staff friendly. There is a café right out side the front door to the left and a 2 minute walk to a small grocery store and then to the main street where you can find other cafe's along with some shops. I was quite surprised and overall pleased.

Room Tip: .Rooms on the front, higher floor levels will be more quiet than lower ones, because of the café whi...

The 4 star must be a joke. It's a noisy hotel.Very small rooms with big bathrooms. We had a terrible smell of strong air refreshner in our room. Got an aweful migraine from it. Called the reception twice about the smell, but noone showed. Disappointing! Kept window and room door open to create a draft. The also charge for WiFi. Breakfast was poor, but free. Slow service. I would not stay here again.

Well, what I would mention as a shortcoming is that it is 45-55 minutes drive from the city center which is annoying and tiring.
The other not pleasant moment is that you can only check in after 3 pm which is late for somebody who arrived at 9 am.
The waiters are very slow and not too happy with their jobs (especially if your dinners are included in your tour ) , you may simply beg for tap water which comes late anyway. They also don't consider to serve men a little more than women ( even if the man is twice as big as the woman , he still gets the same amount of food).
But everything else is good- rooms are not big but well kept and clean, at the reception they try to be helpful , but as good piece of advice ----- wifi must be free( but isn't) .

This hotel charges for wifi.
The rooms were fine, but some folks had issues with balcony locks not working. Our main issue was the smell. There was an overwhelming smell of some chemically faux fragrance in the carpets. It most certainly contributed to a terrible migraine my daughter had there.

My sister and I traveled to Rome together. We got a very good deal for this hotel, which is why I am rating it fair.
Pros:
• Very reasonably Priced
• Close to Bus stop
• Fairly Clean
Cons:
• It’s a bit out of the way. You have to take the bus to Fleming from the Vatican to get there.
• The Breakfast isn't very good, but its free (so it is what it is)
• There is no hairdryer or Irons available in the rooms

Stayed here for 3 nights with my friend, after reading the reviews I was expecting much worse, the hotel was excellent for the money we paid and with a bonus of free breakfast!!!! Food was good, croissants, cake, coffee, juice - I think some people expect too much for little money!
Room was clean and fresh towels were provided every day, staff were friendly, bed was very comfortable.
Neighbourhood was maybe not the best - we did get flashed at waiting for the bus 32 at night by a young local man so be careful. Local cafe was nice and takes about 20-30 mins to get from centre of Rome.
