The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was very small. No place to keep the baggage. If you drain the bathtub, water comes out from a drain in the centre of the bathroom, making the whole bathroom wet. The breakfast was good and we being vegetarian could eat in the same. Colloseum was walking distance from the hotel at around 10 minutes of brisk walk. Very centrally located. The springs in the mattress was broken.

Hotel has a good central location- we walked everywhere from it. There are a lot of cute restaurants 5-10 min walk from there. The rooms are clean, staff is helpful and friendly. It's an easy 15min walk to the train terminal. If you have a lot of bags , I recommend taking taxi though. The breakfast is nice, buffet style, but I found it a bit expensive. Overall, positive experience. I would stay there again.

The room was small. Not even enough space to put 2 check in suitcases on the floor. Hardly any electrical outlet. Poor WiFi in the room. Dark rooms. Not worth the money we paid. Would qualify for 2 star. Breakfast is like at the best western hotel in the US. Don't expect much. Ask rooms away from the street, if u choose this place as it's loud and noisy very early in the morning.

A death in the family required a last minute hotel in Rome on Friday evening. We were familiar with via Nazionale, so we walked over and checked in after some price checks in the area. Positives were the professional staff , cleanliness and the convenient location. TV had several languages available. The minibar did have some space to put a few items. There is a really nice market catering to tourists across the street where we bought some wine, fruit and snacks. and ice, no less. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Termini station is 15 minutes walk. So this is an ok place for a weekend. Not impressive enough for me to return during my next trip.

This hotel is in a good location on Via Nazionale and is within walking distance of the tourist spots with the exception of the Vatican. We had a triple room which was a bit small for three adults but the room was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

The only negative was traffic noise due to its location, so bring ear plugs. The night receptionist was very unhelpful and gave us incorrect information regarding the airport bus but luckily there's more than one bus company. I don't recall if the aircon worked or not but I would definitely recommend the breakfast.

Room Tip: A room at the back may be quieter.

We walked to the hotel with our suitcases from the Termini (well, the airport “Bus Shuttle” stop) and it took only around 10 minutes - despite a taxi offering to take us for 20 Euros and guide would walk us there for 10 Euros!. We walked right past it as it is not very obvious - no flags or big signs), but found it easily when we backtracked.
Most sights including the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Palatine Hill, among others were within easy walking distance. The Vatican was a bit of a trek although there are plenty of buses including City Tour buses that stop at the Monumento Nazionale, 10 minutes walk away.
We found hotel reception fine and efficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms are served by(at least) three lifts, going to different parts of the hotel. Although access to rooms is fine for the vast majority, we had to go up and down a few steps, with luggage to get to our lift - not ideal for people with difficulty walking. Our room was at the side of the Hotel on the 6th floor, and we experienced little noise from within and virtually none from the street.
Our room was of a reasonable size, the twin beds were comfortable, TV with many channels, but not much in English. The bathroom was reasonably sized and had a shower (although the head was wonky), bath, toilet and bidet. Running water for washing and shaving was the order of the day as there was no plug for the sink. There was sufficient wardrobe space, but not many hangers and one sliding door only covered half the front of the wardrobe. We had a mini-bar but no tea-making facilities - we read somewhere that there were, but I think you need to ask for it. The housekeepers did a very good job of cleaning and tidying the room as well as maintaining standards across the hotel.
Good variety of hot and cold food available on the breakfast buffet - the staff there worked incredibly hard to replenish food and to clear and prepare tables. Although there were a couple of coach tours there, there were no problems finding a table.
I would have rated the Hotel a 3.5 star by UK standards and not 4, but we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: The Via Nazionale is a busy road - rooms are quieter to the side and rear. Unlike other reports, ou...

This is my third review of Eurostars across four years. My first indicated satisfaction, my second gave an excellent rating but this occasion has been disappointing. The reception staff is not as attentive or helpful as previously. I noted last time that the air con was not noisy. Now, in the same room, it is. We returned to the room a number of times to find it smelling of the sewer as the toilet was not working efficiently. The breakfast was similar in offering to previous but at times overlong in the trays. The location is obviously the hotel's main attraction but I didn't see a four star standard on this occasion. This is a fair three star hotel. We have stayed in four star hotels in Spain, France and Czech Reublic over the past two months and rated all highly but I just can't see four stars here. With scaffolding surrounding the next building, noise began early from the workers and added to the existing traffic. No tea/coffee making facilities. Not value for money and we will look elsewhere in future.
